Teachers in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district have been ordered to refrain from calling students “boys and girls” and ask them to fill out their “gender identities” in a work sheet.
With the help of a “gender unicorn”, students in kindergarten are taught that their biology is meaningless. It also explains a difference between being sexually attracted to members of one sex while being romantically attracted to others.

A slideshow presentation given to teachers entitled “Supporting Transgender Students” warns that they should avoid using terms like “Transgendered,” “transsexual,” “transvestite,” “MtF or FtM,” “Cross Dresser,” and “Drag Queen/King”.
In addition, it says that children should be addressed as “scholars or students vs. boys and girls” and to use a student's preferred name.

If little Jimmy wants to be refereed to as “Megatron” or “XxBlackReaperxX”, that's what he should be called by school officials.
Parents are not fond of these changes.
Speaking to Fox News, Charlotte resident David Benham said “It’s a radical sexual revolution being forced on our kids.”
“What they are doing is highlighting and exploiting the transgender community and trying to push their radical agenda on the rest of the students,” he added.

“It is friendly looking and deceitful because that unicorn, to me, represents the religion of sex. It is silencing and penalizing those of us who believe we were created male and female and should be able to use those terms,” another parent told WCNC.
