Notley gives CFIB the runaround on carbon taxes

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) is getting the run around from the Notley NDP with regard to access to information documents.

The CFIB went looking for documents relating to the cost of the administration of the NDP’s new carbon tax. While the CFIB got back some numbers, the details and specifics were heavily redacted.

That’s how the NDP operate: in secret.

And I know better than anyone.

If the NDP aren't redacting all the useful parts of the documents I request, they are handing me huge bills, long delays, and denials that we have to appeal. It’s all designed to waste our time and money.

I actually requested the same documents the CFIB did and it took me seven months and two large bills to get much of the same heavily redacted paper waste.

But there was something in there the NDP just couldn't redact:

How clueless they are when it comes to matters of budgeting.

There are a half a dozen different cost estimates for the administration of the carbon tax. I guess the NDP are throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. What a way to govern!

Even though the NDP stonewalling and paywalling has become so routine for me that we have a special fundraising site to circumvent it — — the mainstream media only reports when the NDP blocks anyone but us.

I suspect it’s because they resent the job we do and that we ask the questions they are unwilling to ask.

Of course, there’s going to be a run around concerning the carbon-tax …

The tax is being used to create a slush fund to finance bribes in B.C. It was the B.C. Liberals that demanded social-license for pipelines, so Notley dropped a tax on Alberta to fund the bribes. Of course, then Premier Clark never met a Dollar she didn’t want, and that was the going rate to get her to support the pipeline. Now, with the B.C. NDP/Greens, who are determined to stop the pipeline, as well as wrecking Notley. So, what’s Notley going to do? She has to save her political career and the AB NDP from electoral annihilation, so she’s going to do the obvious: raise the carbon-tax and pay out even more in bribes until the BC NDP can’t help themselves but take the money.

I am so going to enjoy seeing them wiped out in the next election.

Great report Sheila!
Notley, Trudeau and Wynne must have had the same Math teacher at some point!

Good stuff Ms.G-R

Of course, when the redactions are so pervasively and perversely obvious, something is being hidden. These folk are on a money train, get ready for a wild ride into 2020.

These NDP incompetents couldn’t run a lemonade stand.

Rebel… What did you expect.?? A slow walk tour through the garden of NDP.??
Keep up the work though and hopefully one day all of our efforts will be rewarded by the realization that the western provinces must extricate ourselves from and of the criminal cartel that treats this country like a personal resource.
