A little Twitter video of UCP leader Jason Kenney ignoring reporters as he rushes off to get to work inside the legislature has the NDP crying foul.
The video, taken by NDP head researcher Kyall Glennie, shows Kenney walking up the stairs in the legislature foyer, but instead of stopping to scrum with reporters as politicians sometimes do, Kenney rushes off to take his seat.
Hardly a scandal, right?
If that’s true, these people need to get out more.
Do they not remember their own terrible treatment of the free press?
Maybe the NDP and these pearl-clutching enablers need help remembering all the times they actually attacked and hampered a free press, like when they handed The Rebel Media huge bills to get access to documents about the Fort Mac wildfire or when Notley kicked an independent journalist just trying to do her job, out of the legislature with the help of an armed sheriff.
Fortunately, I’m here today to remind them!
Jason Kenney didn't answer some questions from some journalists as he rushed up the stairs to go to work. Big deal.
It’s not like he sent a letter drafted by government lawyers banning an entire news outlet and anyone associated with them, from working at the legislature … in perpetuity. But Notley did that to The Rebel Media.
I suppose it's slightly annoying for these journalists to be ignored but I recovered, and I’m sure they will too.
The NDP really should just sit this one out.
