Notley outspends disgraced Premier Redford -- Will NDP-bots stage a caucus revolt?

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

A new report from the CBC shows that Rachel Notley in her first year, spent as much on her office, staff and travel combined, as Alison Redford.

Alison Redford, Alberta’s disgraced former premier, spent $340,000 on travel, office and expenses in 2012-2013. Rachel Notley spent $339,000 on the same things in her first year. To be exact, Rachel Notley only spent $1,007.03 less than Alison Redford did in her most outrageous and immodest year.

The Premier’s office spent $80,000 relocating NDP refugees like Marcella Munro from BC and Brent Dancey from Manitoba to work here. Rachel Notley believes no Albertans could possibly do those jobs.

Remember how outraged we Albertans all were by Alison Redford’s spending? She abused the government planes, using them like her personal minivan. Redford hired a team of partisan communications staff to troll and abuse Albertans online. Redford is the premier who built the Sky Palace, the opulent hideaway atop the federal building with an apartment for herself and her daughter. Her spending scandals and abuse of the taxpayers finally drove her out of office.

But what about Rachel Notley? She’s bringing in failed NDP cronies from all over the country. She’s paying an army of trolls called “issues managers” to the tune of a million dollars per year to run around with voice recorders and eavesdrop on journalists doing interviews on the Legislature rotunda. Alberta can afford this spending even less than we could then when Alison Redford was the boss.

Where’s the internal outrage from the NDP drones in caucus? The PCs did stage an internal revolt against Redford. There were some MLAs in that PC caucus who, for either moral or self preservation reasons, stood up to Redford’s gluttony. Is Notley facing the same caucus revolt? No. She has a bunch of mindless NDP-bots who just shuffle along and parrot the leader. The NDP MLAs are reminiscent of Roomba vacuum robots, but politicians. Just going around, bumping into walls and sucking up taxes.

Albertans took up our social media pitch forks and our torches against Redford and left her no choice but to quit. Even the media was critical of Redford’s waste and excess. Where are they now? The media is all but silent on something that should be a major scandal.

It took four decades for the PCs to get to that level of entitlement but the NDP are at in a single year. What is this is going to look like three years from now?

Absolutely the most evil and insane communist Marxist devil this nutey is in Alberta. Ctv and global just skimmed ever so slightly at what this garbage, pewtrid carbon tax will do to us and for no reason except this devilish government hates us in Alberta and are prepared to starve us, make us freeze in the dark and nutley still had a smile on that ugly pos while saying ever Albertan will, get this, BENEFIT FROM THIS GARBAGE TAX. THIS WILL ADD BETWEEN $300.00 TO $500.00 A MONTH ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER MONTHS. EVEN IN THE SUMMER, RUNNING YOUR AIR CONDITIONERS WILL COST YOU MUCH MORE. THIS IS SO VERY, VERY, VERY BAD AND WAIT SHE STARTS TO PUT THIS GROTESQUE BIRDKILLING WINDMILLS ALL OVER OUR LAND WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. JOY, JOY WHAT A BUNCH OF STUPID VOTERS WHO VOTED THIS DEVIL IN.

And wants to raise minimum wage to $15 as workers are fleeing for BC? Good Lord she is stuck on stupid.

Surprised that is all she has spent, A useless leader running a useless NDP gov, No surprise she pisses away tax money, its what the NDP does. The ministers are pretty much useless ESPECIALLY THE ENERGY MINISTER WHERE THE HELL HAS SHE BEEN, PATHETIC AND ONLY ONE EXAMPLE OF INCOMPETENCE. There are plenty more where she came from.

Keep going, Notley. Did you hole that much deeper and make the mess that much bigger. It’s not like the next election is tomorrow, so just keep going. The NDP MLAs are not going to say anything. They’re not about to revolt. Why should they revolt? Many of them have probably given up on their political careers lasting beyond the next election. They know they don’t have a hope in hell of saving themselves. As for Notley, she may stick around until the next election. Or, she may decision to run for the the leadership of the Federal NDP. It’s not like candidates are beating down the door to get that position. And Notley’s been spending a lot of time in Ontario as well, so there’s no doubt she’s cultivating her leadership bid. Of course, she will campaign under the “Alberta Miracle” as if she actually did any good in Alberta. People in Ontario have no idea what’s going on in Alberta, so Notley’s pretty safe. So, keep going Notley. Do all those crazy things you’ve been dreaming about.

DONALD ALLAN: She has the watch so a signed photo would make sense. I can just see that skank in her fatigues and a sleazy red beret. Marxist, Facist Swine.

Was just dreaming, the whole bunch were in a maximum security prison, labelled as extremely dangerous people.

Notley must have a signed photo of Hugo Chavez on her desk. Her policies are such that Alberta will look like Venezuela after the NDP communists are finished.

I didn’t vote NDP and now have to suffer for years because of their stupid spending. We will be a broke province by then. Hope they get voted out and never run Alberta again.

Maybe next election, both in Ontario and Alberta, we just elect independents. Can’t possibly get any worse.

You ask where the principled caucus members are, Sheila.

Being a constituent in the invisible Energy Minister’s riding, I have constantly asked the same question. I at one time thought she was morally principled, and even said so when she defeated the W/R candidate. Trouble is, it ends up the morals her principles are based upon are not good, positive ones respecting her constituents. Just look at her behaviour during Bill 6. Her morals are based upon that big post retirement salary she is getting to top up her maximum teacher pension. Last sighting I heard about her, she was in BC, maybe taking her own advice about where Alberta exiles should go; unfortunately, she doesn’t face exile until 2019 at the soonest and more likely 2020.

And she is one of the cream of the non-democratic party caucus. So it is easy to see where the other bots are with respect to moral principles.

One year to achieve the level of corruption it took the PC’s to achieve in 4.5 decades, at least we can’t accuse Notley of being an underachiever.
commented 2016-06-06 18:47:35 -0400
I take serious exception to your comparison of Notley’s caucus to a Roomba vacuum, Sheila. Roombas have a purpose, a plan, and a goal when they set out on a task.

And it will be a great picture for our dart boards at the local pub!

Keith, why do you keep insulting us on here, the Rebel site, when the only ones here that would have voted for Notley and Trudeau are the paid trolls here like Gordo Steele and his many aliases. Stop grouping us together with those pathetic things, it is obvious the serious contributors here did not vote for them.

Sheila – please paste a pig’s nose on “Rachel the entitled.” It will portray her more realistically.
commented 2016-06-06 18:24:04 -0400
Just think how much money Alberta would have if the PC didn’t turn red.
commented 2016-06-06 18:22:58 -0400
The main stream media won’t say anything about it because the NDP are socialists just like them. Waste is only an issue for the MSM if it is Conservatives doing it. Here’s the kicker, though, the PCs after Ralph Klein were only Conservatives in name, Liberals at the core.

You chose this disgusting pig Notley Alberta – you deserve all the theft and fraud this pig can muster.

Don’t be so fucking stupid next time Alberta!!!
