Forget Notley's phony reasons for going to Paris: "What’s holding up international oil and gas sales is Notley herself"

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Why is Rachel Notley at the global warming party in Paris, other than wanting to live high off the hog?

Provinces don’t sign foreign treaties. It makes as much sense for a premier to go to a NATO meeting.

So what's her reasoning?

She said,  "I think it's just very, very important for people to see that they're dealing with a different thing now in Alberta, and hopefully they'll view our efforts to engage in international trade more positively as a result.”

Alberta’s oil and natural gas is sold in international commodities markets. We’re competing with a lot of OPEC dictatorships and countries that sponsor terrorism.

No-one cares where oil and gas comes from. It’s not like a gas pump is labelled with country of origin anyway.

What’s holding up international sales is Notley herself, and other anti-oilsands activist, other anti-pipeline activists.

She needs to convince Trudeau to stop the shipping embargo on Alberta exports and tell environmental extremists to stop blocking Northern Gateway.

And you don’t need to spend tens of thousands of dollars partying in Paris to do that.

The anger will build and be put to good use. The next three years will prove not only trying for Alberta, it will be instructive on how voters and the political class should behave. Elections are dangerous things, as they allow uninformed idiots to make decisions for everyone else. That is how Notley and the NDP came to be elected. Though it was declared that the WR was populated by wing-nuts (and there are a few) they are far more preferable to Motley’s collection of incompetents and the insane. We have already seen that both sides of the aisle are capable of all kinds of insanity. The difference between the insanity of the WR and the NDP is that the WR can keep a lid on it, and keep their garden variety looney from actually doing anything. As for the NDP, their garden variety gets into cabinet, makes policy, and tells everyone how to live their lives. That is the lesson learned from the 2015 election: the art of rational protest voting. Alberta will be wise to never forget it.

All of this talk about climate change being the absolute highest priority for Canada if we are going to save the world for our children and grandchildren is a red herring in my opinion. And what amazes me is that we are willing to throw billions and billions of tax payer’s dollars at something that may or may not occur. Of course in my view and in the view of many Canadians this climate change thingy is a huge fraud. But, of course our elected officials know better than the great unwashed Canadian electorate. They, the doomsayers, say it is already happening, witnessed by the sea level rise in the South Pacific and the impact on the atolls. Given that the oceans are all interconnected why haven’t our beaches in Canada disappeared. Hmmm? Just asking. Oh I get it, the water at the front of my bathtub could be a few inches higher than the water at the back of the bathtub. Yikes! It’s the stupidity of it all that really ingratiates me.

No, the biggest threat to my children and grandchildren – and yours – is the municipal, provincial and federal deficit and debt. This is real, this is tangible, this is all encompassing. It affects our ability in everything we do and it adversely impacts our health care, our education, our infrastructure – everything. We, as a nation, should be doing everything in our power to eliminate the deficit and the debt such that our children and our grandchildren can enjoy the highest quality of life there is to enjoy. And, with all those extra billions of dollars at our disposal, we may even be able to support the UN’s efforts to fight climate change – or at the very least – to clean up our own environment. Right now though we can ill afford to do that with a 600 plus billion dollar albatross hanging over our heads. And that’s just at the federal level.

PET started this whole debt culture of ours back in the early 70’s. It was he that began the practice of borrowing, not from the Bank of Canada, which would have been the responsible way to go up until his time as PM, but to borrow from the private sector at exorbitant interest rates. That was the real crime in my view of things. My fear is that Justine Trudeau will emulate his father and really rack up the debt.

Let’s get real here.

If anyone here is unlucky enough to live in an NDP riding I suggest you start mobilizing fellow constituents and start putting in their face mega pressure on your NDP MLA. Recall legislation is not a reality but a petition to rally against your local NDP representative, questioning their competence and responsibility for ALL constituents, is. These MLAs have no experience or knowledge for their elected positions so if they start experiencing anger and pressure from people with some brains it might put the fear of god in them. Calls upon calls, letters upon letters, protests outside their local offices – by constituents that they are supposed to be representing, regardless of how they voted, is your right. This might wake them up and let them know exactly who they work for, that they are not there to tow the NDP line. This woman is so completely out of control, another Kathleen Wynne in the making, ready to repeat all the same insanity of Ontario’s utter failures, expecting that there will be a different result (or maybe the same result is her intent). Albertans best start making noise to shake up these amateurs that are in office by default. Make them answer to your questions and concerns and get it on video record. Make them answer to ALL Albertans and to stop hiding behind Notley’s “win over the Conservative voter” as their collective mandate to destroy everything Alberta!

I find that smiling jackass to be an insult to average Albertans, who pay for her keep! She is ignorant and flippant, and has the audacity to talk to us like we are second class citizens. I look forward to when we, the public, get to return that sentiment, as we boot their butts out the door. Prentice made the mistake of insulting Albertans prior to an election, but Rachel will meet the same fate, and I will be cheering, as I watch her booted from office.

Kelvin Grabowsky – My condolences.

I have suffered some very dark times myself and have not been able to get full time employment for almost 5 years now and was only entitled to 15 weeks of EI, of which I was only paid 13, for medical leave after 15 years of full time employment then was laid off permanently. I have been surviving of the odd part time job and a dwindling income from investments.

It is horrible seeing so many people loose everything. I have a friend who is a Rig Welder and almost every other Rig Welder on his last job has lost their Welding Trucks and are loosing everything. There are already a lot of Shop Welders out of work in Alberta, so they can’t even get a job at a shop. Many Oil related workers are self employed contractors and they can not get EI, so when jobs dry up for more than a few months and they can’t pay any more bills and can’t get any social assistance other than maybe the food bank, they stand to loose everything and end up on welfare.

If anyone is in this situation, please ask for help. Write and/or call the Newspapers, News Shows, Your MLA, Your MP, The Premier, The Prime Minister and the Opposition Critics. Please find someone to talk to who can be sympathetic and will not reinforce the negative emotions you are dealing with.

Notley seems to be spending a lot of time outside of Alberta. It’s not like she actually likes it in Alberta. I mean she hates its people, and pretty much everything about the province. She’d rather jetset and hang out with better people. I guess she’s not going to spending much time in Alberta. That means that she’s leaving all the work to a crew of incompetents and retards.

Things are going great – that’s if you like clusterfucks.

Guy Fraser, we lost our son after the crash in 2008, I guess he thought there was nowhere else to turn. That’s why I hate these latte sipping assholes from Wall Street to parliament hill to the Alberta legislature, they have no regards for the people even the dumb fucktards that voted them in. All that I ask is for every freedom loving patriot in North America to put an end to tyranny. It’s time to take off the gloves and fight to the last man or woman. To rid this scum off the face of the earth.
Everyone is entitled to have food and shelter and to make a life for themselves without the threat of governments dictating and taxing them to their deaths.

I think they do that already.

Rachel Notley said, "I think it’s just very, very important for people to see that they’re dealing with a different thing now in Alberta, and hopefully they’ll view our efforts to engage in international trade more positively as a result.”

She has to travel the world to try and sell her Bull Shit ideas to get someone to be on her side. She is robbing the province blind. She is destroying the inexpensive infrastructure so she can import super expensive infrastructure (i.e. wind farms) that don’t work, from Ontario. Like really…..does anybody want that? Albertans built Alberta, for Albertans….NOT for Ontario, NOT for the NDP buddies, NOT for the PC crooks, NOT for Notley but for Albertans, and now no one has the guts to doing anything about it.
Ontario had their chance and blew it. They went the way of Gay, Lesbian, Pride, Sodomy for everyone, invite ISIS to the party instead of looking out for the people. Now the NDP is importing this crap from Ontario and put some of this crap in control of Alberta. It’s worse than when the PC’s were here and the NDP has not been in power a year yet.
Alberta does not have enough stupidity here already, Rachel Notley has to import it.

#AlbertaLivesMatter Rachael Notley’s answer to killing jobs and Oil Workers is increasing Mental Health Spending … Unless the Oil Workers are getting jobs in Mental Health, they will still not be able to pay their bill or feed their families, so increasing spending will do little to quell to 30% increase in suicide in Alberta that is now 30% higher than the National Average.
commented 2015-12-08 14:45:59 -0500
#AlbertaJobsMatter Rachel Notley and her minions have increased the suicide rate in Alberta. Due to the extremist policies of the NDP (No Democratic Process) thousands of well paid workers are jobless with no end in sight and are loosing everything including their ability to care for their family and it is creating an epidemic of suicide.

This is the reason why Notley has to be overthrown and why the west must separate from Canada or make enough noise at least to make the left wet their beds at night.

I really enjoy this focus on Alberta and as an Albertan I value it very much. I wonder though if people who don’t live in Alberta and Ontario (the other focus) are feeling left out. I hope that the Rebel will continue to grow and expand to other provinces in time.

I don’t work in the oil industry, but need a healthy oil industry in order for me to prosper. It is going to be a long wait until the next election.

Rachel went there to gloat, and to show her pride in destroying capitalism in AB, while throwing people into poverty, without even a second thought. Those are Rachel’s true colours showing through, and it isn’t attractive at all.
