Notre Dame Cathedral fire: Buzzfeed tries and fails to debunk “anti-Muslim narrative”

Martina MarkotaRebel Contributor

It felt like the world watched the images and videos of Notre Dame Cathedral as she burned, but not everyone who tuned in felt a sense of horror or loss.

Before the fire was put out, Twitter user Damien Rieu posted a video showing a live feed of the responses from a Facebook post on the fire, showing numerous Arabic names posting the laughing reaction face emoji.

This Twitter post, combined with the sharing of recent articles discussing terrorist plots, decay and vandalism at French churches, was interpreted by Buzzfeed as right wingers trying to turn the fire into an “anti-Muslim narrative.” Talk about a bad faith argument.

Strange how, twenty years ago, it was virtually unheard of to have a church in France vandalised. Now, its essentially a daily “thing”.

What has changed in twenty years? Feminism has been around long before then. Radical left knew better. Oh wait, the invasion of France from people of a certain following partly through legal immigration but a vast number via illegal immigration. In both cases, a blatant refusal to integrate and along with demands for France to bend and follow their ways, the very same habits they were escaping from.

Have you noticed how many churches have been destroyed across North Africa, the Middle East, and in certain Asian nations that are Muslim controlled?

This was a magnificent structure both of Western architecture and of significant importance to Christianity, not to mention French nationhood. What better a target to destroy? Sort of like blowing up part of Mecca.

My better half believes the Louvre will be next, or soon.

Social media has played a role in attacks across Europe. I wonder what would happen if, within the time frame of an hour, all forms of social media put out a war cry to go after the mosques? Tit for tat. Deep down the French are nationalists, and supporters of Catholicism. Even if nothing would happen, it might wake up the terrorists.

Yes, I believe that it must have been intentionally set, and if it wasn’t, 875 other churches could not have had accidents such as this or hate crimes since the beginning of the year. Another reason to believe this fire was intentional set is the speed with which the government said it was an accident, before an investigation and with the building still ablaze. That must be some crystal ball…

Yes, while they attack, invade, rape, slaughter, bomb, set ablaze, complain, demand, exploit, threaten and damage all over our lands, one attack against them and the world comes to a complete standstill , a full day of mourning and more anti white, anti right, anti freedom, anti west , and all out lefty meltdowns over it but again the attacks by islam against us every single day all over the globe and that is okay!

I’m beginning to see why they hate we whites and abuse our own laws, freedoms, politicians and governments against us. WE’RE ALL BRAIN DEAD-STUPID- DUMB!

“Extreme followers of the religion of peace”? So you are suggesting that terrorist activities have no ties to Islam or its teachings?
