Backlash after Nova Scotia bans high school rugby due to injuries

Good news for sports fans! The Nanny State in Nova Scotia has struck out.

Earlier this month, the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation announced an abrupt end to the high school rugby season.

The reason? Apparently, some kids got hurt. While playing rugby. A contact sport.

Thankfully, thanks to a huge backlash from several different groups, rugby is being reinstated.

Rugby, the forerunner of American Football is probably one of the roughest sports played by man and this without protective padding. A game best watched rather than played.
