NYC terrorist “illustrates the challenge of integrating Muslim migrants”

Tanveer AhmedRebel Commentator

As the child of immigrants myself, I believe immigration brings many benefits to the host nation.

However, certain immigrants present challenges in terms of integration.

The case of the terrorist who struck a New York City bike path on October 31 is a case in point, and the perfect example of the way that personal and political resentments can serve as a precursor to terrorism.

No western country can afford this kind of ‘acting out’ where people are mangled and dismembered . There is no amount of ‘understanding’ going to fix it. We can’t allow it to enter in the first place.
In the name of unity and peace it must be stopped.
Diversity be damned.

Muta ween, it won’t be long until our major cities look just like Chicago. They are already suffering. Health care is going to be a huge concern in an already incompetent system. It is really hard to care about the trials and difficulties of an ungrateful migrant population thrust upon us in such large numbers over such a short period of time.
Once they show the slightest propensity to violence they should be turfed. I just don’t think most people are too sympathetic to their plight anymore. These unhappy migrants may not be able to help themselves from acting out the hatred they bring with them, but that makes it no less offensive.
They would be better assisted in their own countries or at least neighboring countries with similar cultures, where they could then easily return to their homes when /if possible. Lets help them insitu. We don’t need to bring in anyone to maintain prosperity. On the contrary. I question whether there is much if any benefit to western countries with this influx of migrants. They are a huge drain on every aspect of our infrastructure.

It is not their fault. It is the fault of our globalist politicians. We are diverse enough. Nobody is buying that tired line any more. We know what ‘diversity’ means. It means the absence of the unity and cohesiveness that a country absolutely requires to maintain a balance of peace and tolerance. This much diversity is designed to break countries apart, not unify them. Slow careful immigration through the front door, allowing in only those who really want to be a part of our society and country need apply.

Liza Rosie ,Take a trip to South Side Chicago and experience the value of prosperty and inclusiveness. The schools are overrun with illegal aliens and most don’t even bother to learn English. Chucago is bankrupt and so is the State of Illinois. Homicides and violent crime are approaching third world status.
Border, language and culture .All being attacked .
There can only bad outcomes if it doesn’t stop.

If you were able to facilitate time travel and brought someone from a brutal region of the 7th century middle east into a 21st century western country the time traveler would be unable to integrate. Everything he would see here, from technology to social relations, would be mind-boggling and, because of his lack of intellectual capacity, would be frightening. He might learn enough of the basics of 21st century life to get by from day to day – like driving a car, getting a job, etc. But unable to understand modern western concepts like liberty, free will, self-determination (to name a few) he would eventually conclude that whatever he couldn’t process or understand was evil. Using his 7th century culture as a frame of reference he would conclude that he must kill it, fight against it and establish the social order with which he is familiar.

This I think is the fundamental problem with importing people into our modern society who intellectual and psychological makeup comes straight out of a brutal, backward medieval society. They can’t integrate and eventually go nuts, taking as many western “devils” out with them as they can. Our governmental overlords don’t understand this and continue to delude themselves that anyone who breezes in across our border is already imbued with western democratic values or can absorb enough of them once here to function successfully in our society. Well it ain’t so as we are seeing time and again.

When looking at past waves of immigrants you’ll see that there was not nearly as big a gulf between their home countries and ours. An immigrant from 19th century Europe coming to 19th century North America was not going to be shocked on a fundamental level by North American society. There may be elements of it that made them uncomfortable but for the most part they got what they expected. Same for immigrants from 20th century Europe, South and Central America, Asia and so on and there are many other examples. They knew enough about what life was like here to want to be part of it. They were drawn by economic opportunities but also by freedom and self-determination. When you’re from the 7th century however, you might desire the economic opportunities but you don’t have a clue about the rest.

Tonights CBC News on The National,
Thousands of US Visa’s to expire in less than 3 months. Refugees with these Visas are planning to walk across Canada’s borders through 5 different Provinces. Canada speaking to different Embassies in the US to try and slow down the onslaught.
Manitoba put up a fence so your leaky border doesn’t pollute the rest of the West.

“I’m a big believer in migration to continue the prosperity and inclusiveness in countries like Australia, Canada or America.”

I’m fine with low, controlled immigration, the opposite of what Canada has now. However, that we should allow entry of illegal migrants or that we need immigrants to be a prosperous country is a myth I do not subscribe to. Canada is ‘inclusive’ enough. I don’t think we should be expected to be more so.

“Countries have extra challenge when it comes to Muslim migrants.” Is an understatement.
People may call these attacks , lone wolf, but without Islam they would not be happening.

These terrorist attacks are horrifying, but the bigger problem is a tipped population demographic. As Tammie pointed out, Muslims, unless they are apostate, or have convinced themselves reform is possible( same thing to most Muslims) do not integrate. They are encouraged not to. I am in no mood for any more immigration from Islamic countries. I don’t want Canada to become another U.K. and I want my country respected not used as a door mat. Thanks to our government that is exactly what we are.

Only those who see integration as a 2 way street can actually integrate. And that goes for all.

Reformists and apostates tend view integrating in a positive light; they are accused of abandoning Islam by the umma. This explains why integration is forbidden. Islamic texts; significant number of Imams; Islamists & their apologists all set the table for the trouble we have in the “diverse” nations who embraced

Muslims intergrating is an oxymoron .
