John CardilloRebel Host | Off The Cuff

Big wins for President Donald Trump as French President Emmanuel Macron visits the White House, and Trump's nominees head to their confirmation votes.

Amanda Head joins me to discuss the flak she’s getting for her most recent TV commercial.

MSNBC’s Joy-Ann Reid is in hot water over archived homophobic blog posts.

And, Fresno State University has reached a decision on whether or not to punish the far-left professor who insulted the death of former First Lady Barbara Bush.

Worries… We’re not afraid of growing old we’re just afraid of growing up… LOL..

I don’t apologize, Peter. It’s that seeming inconsistency between “none of my damned business” and physical revulsion that seems contradictory. Yet, I can’t deny that both are true. In actuality, I don’t waste a whole lot of time thinking about the gay/lesbian/ LGTB issue. It’s much more fun thinking about gorgeous women…. even at 70. I can’t do much about it at 70, but the memories are still fresh and fun…. they’re all I got so I may as well enjoy them. (I guess mentally we never grow old…. at least I hope we don’t)

It’s ok to have morals Maurice. Don’t feel like you have to apologize because 3.5 % of the population don’t like your right to think common sense

Although I believe living a homosexual lifestyle is morally wrong, just as I believe any sex outside of a traditional male-female marriage is wrong, I still believe that how other people live their lives is none of my damned business, as long as in doing so they do not negatively impact the lives of anyone else. And to that extent, my revulsion at homosexual displays of affection is a problem.

Andrew,If you believe you can kiss a frog and turn it into a prince, you’re stupid. Even if you wait billions of years it is still a fairy tale.
Maurice, have patience. When they finally achieve their socialist/communist fantasy of euphoria, they will be lined up and disposed of.
Just like the 200 million dead in the 20 th century alone

- Obama’s clown car diplomacy turned an already unstable middle east into an even greater disaster. That’s what Trump has inherited. Don’t expect too much from Macron. He talks tough at times but he’s a globalist at heart. The Democrats blocking appointments is on the same level as a 2 year old having a temper tantrum.

- The strategy of the left has been to attack their opponents & use their morals & values against them. This doesn’t work on the left because they have no morals & values – just the goal of gaining power at any cost & holding power at any cost. The left must never be allowed to pretend they have the moral high ground & their hypocrisy needs to be rubbed in their faces. If the Democrats lose their black voting block they are in trouble & they know it.

- Joy Reid needs to be held to the same standards a conservative would be (even if they did far less). No apology should ever be enough. the sponsors of her show need to be attacked & she needs to be driven off the air & humiliated as much as possible. None of this will happen though, of course, because the left have no morals or values to attack. They’ll try to cover it up, then deny it (where we’re at now), then a non-apology apology will be issued, then they’ll pretend it never happened.

- Of course Fresno State University (clown college) won’t punish professor skank whale. These universities need to lose all funding & there needs to be found alternatives for these Marxist institutions.

Maurice… Part of the problem is when we use our reasoning ability to try to understand the insanity of homosexuality.
Rather than trying to apply any logic to it with an understanding of how or why, we just know it is wrong and we certainly don’t need a wannabe fruit fly PhD explaining the evolution of a faggot lifestyle because there is no evolution… It’s a dead-end lifestyle with no procreation so they must look at recruitment and grooming and the best way to do that is through the children. It is a CHOICE not a birth defect..

Maurice Potvin:
“If that were true, wouldn’t that mean that it was genetic? How does one pass on genetic information to future generations?”

Evolution isn’t so cut and dried.

In the last five to ten years we’ve become very aware of what are called “epigenetic” factors, which are not hard-coded in DNA but rather in how it’s interpreted by the cells – eg,DNA twists on itself in the cell, and how it’s twisted can influence how the cell reads it. Twin studies suggest it’s influenced by genetics, but not strictly genetic. Consider it like not liking certain foods – it might be partly genetic, as in what types of taste bud you have, but also driven by environmental influences. Something can be biologically deterministic, but not necessarily genetically so.

Even if it were genetic, it’s not Mendelian, meaning driven by multiple genes. Polygenic traits are very hard to select out of a population, especially if they have to come together in an uncommon way to reduce total fecundity (the term for ability to reproduce). If it takes particular combinations of 10 genes to generate a homosexual tendency, you might inherit 8/10 “gay” alleles, turn out straight, and pass them on to the next generation, who might then win a “gay combination”.

One final possibitlty is genetic pleiotropy – multiple effects. Genes can be both beneficial or detrimental, the classic example is the sickle cell gene which, if you inherit one copy of, you’re immune to malaria, but if you inherit two copies of, you blood cells don’t have structural integrity and you die. In this case, gay Uncle helps his sister raise the kids, the sister can then raise more children. and the sister of course shares a lot of genetic material with him, so it ends up propagated. The “caretaker” hypothesis also seems to explain menopause, which is only observed in family-group social animals.

FLAT EARTH, here’s something that’s always puzzled me. See if you can explain it. Gays and lesbians claim that homosexuality is a naturally occurring phenomena. They say it isn’t a choice…. that they’re born that way. If that were true, wouldn’t that mean that it was genetic? How does one pass on genetic information to future generations? Isn’t it by having babies? How do people make babies? Isn’t it through heterosexual activity? I’m confused…. if homosexuality were a naturally occurring phenomena and the propensity to engage in heterosexual activity is far more heavily concentrated in the heterosexual community, wouldn’t the numbers within the homosexual population have peaked thousands of years ago, and then decreased on a declining arc until they went completely extinct hundreds of years ago? That certainly seems like that would be the case as the numbers of heterosexuals reproducing would simple overwhelm them. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as there seems to be more gays around now than ever. Or at least they’re sure a lot louder. What are you thoughts?

Maurice… I am with you except I don’t think it’s a problem when I react with repulsion… I think the problem in lies with the insane believe that homosexual activity is normal.. I tell you what… let’s try an experiment… Lets put 100 fags on an island for 50 years and after that period of time come back and see how they’re doing… I would bet that they are extinct or almost so and that is proof beyond the shadow of a doubt that kind of behaviour is not only repulsive but it doesn’t work either.. we were supposed to be fruitful not fruity.!!

Drew, I’m not saying that my natural revulsion at overt displays of homosexual affection is a good thing. I’m just saying that it is my reaction…. good or bad. In any case, it’s my problem and I’ll just have to learn to deal with it. However, I don’t think it’s a particularly uncommon problem. I know lots of people who have the same reaction.

Maurice i agree to a point, i really do not care if 2 men or women hold hands or kiss , the crap that goes on at Pride is another story however. That being said i find it highly offensive that if a heterosexual is uncomfortable it is bigotry , but if a gay is uncomfortable it is not. More of a progressive double standard though.

I have no use for MSNBC and I don’t believe they have any credibility when it comes to balanced news coverage. However, when it comes to Joy-Anne Reid’s so-called homophobic blog post 11 years ago, I’m every bit as uncomfortable as she is in the company of homosexuals. That’s aside from the fact that as a Christian I believe homosexual activity is sin. But even if you don’t believe that it’s a sin, and you’re heterosexual, it certainly wouldn’t be unusual to feel uncomfortable in the presence of homosexual displays of affection, particularly if you don’t come from a family tradition where public displays of affection are the norm. Her failure was in this bogus attempt deny that those comments actually came from her. That, I don’t believe for one second. That’s where her lack of character and integrity really shine through. If she had owned the comments, she’d still be a leftist loony but at least she’d be consistent.
