Trump's enemies deserve to lose their security clearance

John CardilloRebel Host | Off The Cuff

President Trump threatened to revoke the security clearances of six Obama and Bush administration officials, and the left predictably went nuts.

I’ll tell you why he should do it, and how the media’s analysis is dead wrong.

Correction: should read if someone was issued

Let me clarify. If someone issued a top security clearance, it was only good for a specified period. If they reapplied for a position requiring that level, then they already met the requirements. If they left the job, the clearance expires. The people Pres. Trump’s administration has identified may also be at the expiration of their security clearance and he’s is simply not going to renew them at whatever level they were cleared.

You are losing it fast with this moniker Jimmy (Amy) just like your Ocean one, careful, you’ll need to make another one sooner than you anticipated.

Hyacinth, your predictability takes the cake. WHATEVER Trump or aANY Rebel Media personality says, you automatically agree with. Grow a spine and think for yourself, little guy.

Tsk tsk, you are getting way too predictable Jimmy (Amy), you really need a new handbook.

- The left losing their minds is standard practice these days. It better be more than a threat – he needs to do it.

To think that a president would decide clearance removal based on an opposing political viewpoint is reminiscent of Stalin and Nazi Germany. Way to set a precedent, Trump!

So Hyacinth, every former Republican official should give up their clearance too? Odd how suddenly you feel security clearences are an issue after Trump says so. Are you able to ease on your Trump worship?

“Security clearance for life is a leftist notion…like so much that comes out of their mouth, pure nonsense!”

Spot on Tammie, perfect example is this site’s resident troll of many monikers constant flood of BS.

In the old days, security clearances were issued and downgraded when/if required. The higher the level, provides access to more sensitive information. If you’re not in the job you were hired for, you should still have the same access??
I used to request security clearances for senior Federal employees. If they didn’t meet the requirements, they didn’t get the clearance. If they left the job, there was no need for that level of clearance. Only logical.

Monetizing security clearance is wrong, why is this so hard for Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, Rice et al to understand!!! Consider when most people are fired or resign or retire, their computer accounts are cancelled; their key fobs are deactivated; phone extension given to someone else and security often escorts them from the building…

Security clearance for life is a leftist notion…like so much that comes out of their mouth, pure nonsense!

Also, allow me to educate Johnny Cardillo on why former officials keep their security clearances — entirely for American security as it allows current national officials to consult with experts. By revoking clearances, Trump makes America less safe. But he doesn’t care about that, just his fragile ego.

The US has just taken another big step towards Autocracy. An illegitimate President just threatened to remove security clearances to men for being patriots and who are critical of a POTUS hell bent on destroying Democracy. Maybe you should move to Zimbabwe, John Cardillo?

Charles….My thoughts exactly when you leave government service you do not need clearance your are a private citizen and that’s it. Just go to work and pay your taxes and shut up after all I’m sure you signed a non disclosure agreement.

I am ex-military. That said, If you are no longer in govt. service, you should automatically lose your security clearance, period. I don’t care, if you were a private, or the president. Your clearance can be reinstated, if the need arises.

That Brennan should have been given his CIA post, and security clearance, by the Obama administration, given his background, was dangerously absurd to begin with…

It’s kinda autocratic to deliberately block anybody that may eventually hold you accountable, or even those who are anything less than total sycophants. He must have been taking pro tips from his buddy Vlad on that one.
