John Paul Stevens is wrong about the Second Amendment

John CardilloRebel Host | Off The Cuff

Pulling out all stops, the left has now brought out 97-year-old former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens to make a case for repealing the Second Amendment. Republicans, led by President Donald Trump, aren’t having it and are pushing back hard.

Now we have the " Founding Teenagers " like David Camera Hogg who have decided the United States should be reconstituted and the Second Amendment repealed. Hogg is also selective in his opinions regarding the First Amendment. He sites the requirement to use clear backpacks to school as violating his rights, but when criticized by Laura Ingraham he calls for a boycott of her advertisers. First Amendment Rights and free speech only apply to the leftists chosen words but restrict what anyone with an opposing view can say.
Sound familiar?
The Democrats are running away from Justice Stevens opinion because he has exposed their plan which is to confiscate every gun in America .At least every legal gun, they have no plan for millions of guns held by criminals.

That’s a good point Robert McClelland, but if you think Stevens wrote this little epistle without “some help” then I’ve got that proverbial bridge to sell you…

The Democrats have made this a midterm issue though I don’t think they meant to do so. Come the fall will they disavow the “march for our lives”? The organizations that supported it? John Paul Stevens? If not, they will be stuck with this.

PJW has a new meme called “I support the Parkland Students”. His point is that the Dems have overplayed their hand and that they are awakening the conservative base in the States just in time for the mid-terms. So let’s hope this old curmudgeon keeps right on chirping.
