Omar Khadr by the numbers: Revealing the cruelty of Trudeau’s pandering

Brian LilleyArchive

By now you’ve heard the news that Omar Khadr will get an apology and $10.5M from the Canadian government for how Americans treated him in Gitmo after he killed one of their medics looking to help him on the battlefield.

It’s outrageous and insulting on its face but let’s look at Omar Khadr by the numbers to get a sense of exactly how outrageous it is.

Watch as I drill down into the details and give those numbers a human and political perspective that Khadr’s apologists don’t want you to consider.

Jean Chretien had the chance to help Khadr back in 2002 and he didn’t because he knew that Khadr was a little terrorist. Paul Martin took over and saw the same thing, same with Stephen Harper.

Two Liberal prime ministers and one Conservative PM didn’t help this brat that took up arms against the country of his birth.

No PM did until Justin Trudeau and now he’s doing voluntarily what no one else would dare do, not even if they were in office today - make Khadr rich, absolve him of his sins and desecrate the sacrifice of our fallen and our Afghan war veterans.

Shame on Trudeau, shame on Khadr.

The Rebel previously reported that Omar Khadr boasted to Guantanamo guards that killing Christopher Speer was ‘the best day of his life.’ Does anyone have a source?

Liza Rosie, your patriotism is not the big question here. It is your knowledge of the rule of law in Canada. A court in Canada is not going to convict a 15 year old child, who was placed in a war zone, of anything, let alone of treason. Instead the Canadian Supreme Court would rule that the government erred seriously in not defending the interests of the fifteen year old and in fact gathering and sharing information with a foreign government that would lead to the 15 year old’s additional torture and mistreatment.

Would you like top be treated like a bonafide Canadian? Perhaps some knowledge of Canadian law should be a prerequisite for that.

Andrew Lawton tweet, “If Omar Khadr’s military tribunal lacks legitimacy, let’s charge and try him for treason on our own terms and soil.”
Now that makes sense. If Trudeau is treating him as bonified Canadian lets treat him as a bonified Canadian!
Try Khadr him for treason against Canada!

  • Breaking News **

Govt of Canada has paid Khadr $10.5 million, bypassing US injunctions.

Globe and Mail:
The payment halts efforts by lawyers for the widow of a U.S. Delta Force sergeant and a retired U.S. special forces soldier from seeking an emergency injunction to stop Ottawa from giving the multimillion-dollar settlement to Mr. Khadr and his lawyers.

“The injunction is moot. It is absolutely moot,” University of Ottawa law professor Amir Attaran told The Globe. “Plus, if they are smart, that money is not sitting in Omar Khadr’s name, it is sitting in a trust fund or it is sitting in a corporation or some other structure, and good luck in enforcing against that.”

This will go down as one of the biggest scandals in Canadian history.

Hopefully Trump will get wind of this and retaliate.

Yvette, that scumbag family is not the only one taking advantage of our welfare state. There are thousands like them across Canada, only waiting to be numerous enough to start attacking you and me and every other non-muslim. Like Kevin Johnson said, arm up, train, and be ready to defend yourself and your country. Because like Sweden, Canada is going down very fast.

I must also mention Cheryl Gallant who has started a petition, whom I encourage everyone to sign & forward to their family & friends regardless of their politics, if they choose not to sign then they are just as complicit as the selfie PM.

Justin Trudeau & his cabinet have betrayed the Canadian people as much as the little terrorist has by leaving his birth country & going back where he came from to fight alongside the Taliban. Why wasn’t anything done about this terrorist family when they had a chance & why are they still allowed to live here taking advantage of our generosity. We know that Omar’s father was donating to Chretien’s Liberals & that was more important for his reelection agenda than being loyal to Canadians. Khadr being Muslim was considered a man at the age of fifteen so I don’t want to hear the garbage coming from the bleeding hearts that he was a boy & he was tortured & even if he was which he was not if you consider that sleep deprivation is torture, that does not excuse that he threw the grenade that killed Seargent Speer. Khadr committed high treason & that trumps everything else. Apologizing & rewarding a traitor & terrorist is beyond the pale.
I will be writing my MP as well, the only voices I have heard so far from the Conservatives are Michelle Rempel & Tony Clements, where are all the others, where is their backbone if they have any?

Across the world now, canadians are seen as stupid sponsors of terrorism. This sets a precedent and we can expect to see many more young jihadis suiing us for millions in the future. TruDope wants to destroy this country, then I hope Trump will help him by cutting all purchases from Canada and close the northern border. THe leftards of this country needs a lesson on how gov’t socialism looks like.

I received a reply from the Chief of Staff of my MP’s office – Adrian Bugelli, copied and pasted the body of the e-mail below.

“Good afternoon Tammie,

Thank you for taking the time to write and share your views with respect to the news that the Government of Canada plans to issue a payment of over $10 million to Omar Khadr.

Canadians know this is wrong. In the past, the Government of Canada has acknowledged and apologized for cases where the accused was never convicted of terror related crime. This is not the case with Omar Khadr. Omar Khadr admitted that he killed a U.S. Army Medic. Now Mr. Khadr will be one of the wealthiest men in Canada.

Conservatives believe that it is one thing to acknowledge alleged mistreatments. It is another to award a convicted terrorist that murdered an allied soldier who had a wife and two children. Our thoughts continue to be with Christopher Speer’s widow and family, who must relive their ordeal every time this issue comes up in the media.

When a Canadian soldier is killed or injured in battle the government provides a lump sum payment up to a maximum of $360,000. Despite this, the current government is willing to provide $10 million to a convicted terrorist who actively sought to kill Canadian and allied soldiers and who murdered one U.S. soldier and permanently maimed another.

Given Mr. Khadr’s admission of guilt, we are calling on him to give any settlement money to Sergeant Speer`s widow and two children.

You are very right that that money could be better spent on issues like living conditions on First Nations’ reservations across Canada, or on controlling unfettered illegal immigration.

Once again thank you for taking the time to write and share your concerns.

Kind regards,

Signature AB "

Trashy disgraceful terrorist appeasement by the Canadian government. What the hell is really going on in the libtard government? We, the public, the conservative government and whoever else’s seeing through this insanity have to get to the bottom of this. We can’t let this one go. The western world is under attack by islamic terrorism. It’s the same as releasing a Nazi from prison and awarding him 10.5 million for killing a Canadian soldier during ww 2. Trudeau and the libtards better get ready for war because I don’t think any soldiers want to fight for this traitorous government that just took a big dump on them to favor/praise the enemy.

Toonies for Traitors!!!??
My letter today to the PM and my MP. Something has to be done Canada!!!!!!

Dear Prime Minister Trudeau:

Ten million bucks to a lifelong, unrepentant, confessed killer/ terrorist? Stupidity of this magnitude MUST be purposeful. What is the purpose?
Khadr was no child when he was gleefully making IED’s for his Al Qaida daddy.
He fought willingly in Afghanistan with a stated wish to kill Americans. Canadian soldiers were killed in untold numbers by the IED’s he made. He was a Canadian fighting and killing his own people.
And don’t tell me his confession was obtained through torture. He proudly confessed well before he set foot back in North America!!! He repeated his guilty plea to get into Canada where he new he would be let go- and he was. TO THIS DAY he has not retracted that guilty plea nor has HE apologized. He just grins at our colossal stupidity!
So, what is the goal of this award to Khadr? Millions to recruit and pay like-minded colleagues to establish the Sharia and kill the non-compliant?
Why was the announcement made on the Fourth of July? from Ireland no less. A slap in the face of Americans? Revenge against President Trump? What is it?
Tell me, I’m listening!!!
What happens when Khadr becomes a nurse? Will he practise nursing in the manner of a certain London Ontario nurse? Would you want him caring for your children? Why would he work anyway since he’s now a millionaire? I’ll tell you why- the MAID program. What better way to kill Canadians than in the health care system. Only difference, he’ll be using drugs instead of grenades and IED’s.

I look forward to your prompt explanation.

Well said Brian Lilley! trudope and his followers are a waste of air and human skin. The decision to reward this terrorist is a national disgrace to our fallen soldiers and their next of kin. Our American allies are shocked in dis-believe at the actions of the kid p.m. and his fiberal government. All true Canadian Patriots are disgusted with this total treasonous action! Wake up Canadians across this great land and rise up in defense of true democracy and in defense of our best allies (the U.S.A.).

I’m waiting to hear from my MP. I copied the body of my e-mail and posted below.

Dear Honourable Member Lauzon,

I’m writing today to express my outrage at the Liberal government’s decision to pay Omar Khadr without having been ordered to by any court. This lawsuit by Khadr should not have been settled in this manner. It should have gone to trial whereby all the evidence, including the 40 page document he signed with his lawyer’s support be introduced; along with the video of Khadr building IED’s. I’m sure the US government has footage of Khadr declaring the best day of his life was when he killed an American soldier. Canada could have asked the US government to search for this footage and release it to the legal team representing the Crown interests.

This should not be happening, it wasn’t Canada or the Canadian taxpayer who trained him to be a jihadist and throw a grenade in Afghanistan. He was nearing his sixteenth birthday and certainly was no child.

Trudeau leaked this information on July 4th, and this too is a despicable act.

What is the Conservative Caucus going to do about this? The apology is just as outrageous as paying this convicted and admitted terrorist. Trudeau does not speak for me and many other Canadians. Khadr should not see one penny of this perverted settlement; rather it should go to the widow of Christopher Speer and also to the other soldier that was permanently maimed by Khadr’s grenade that day in Afghanistan.

Trudeau is borrowing money to pay this; the Liberals are running an enormous and uncontrollable deficit – add insult to injury, we the taxpayer, will be paying interest on this large settlement.

Please bring this to Andrew Scheer and as that a special session be convened to try and reverse this.

I am so angry, and I cannot believe this is happening.

This fu%$er has given Canada the best gift ever exposing our Legal system and HRC for the sham it is.

Turdos liebral government illegal immigration fake refugee policy costing Canadian tax payers billions.
Pissing off every non muslim Canadian.
Video of all this treason will be very useful in the next election especially the gag order M-103 so no one can have free speech. Except the death cult of course free to call for the deaths of Canadians.
The pendulum will swing the other way.
There are not enough of these bastards to stop us yet.

…….and the Gov’t is surprised that “hate crimes” are on the increase. Just keep on laughing at the people as you do now and it will get worst yet. Stupid Trudeau does not apologise for me nor does nor should he give away my tax dollars to criminals.
How much of the $10.5M will return to the Liberal coffers and the Trudeau Foundation????

Jay Kelly, I have read your posts and it’s most unfortunate your allegiance is to the terrorist family who have already soaked Canada for millions; and are about to receive more!

Omar was a trained terrorist, three Prime Ministers recognized this, and along comes Trudeau…. the Supreme Court didn’t order the government to settle with the terrorist….Justin capitulated without any kind of legal response in court. A smarter government would have responded to Khadr’s lawsuit where a battle of this nature should be addressed, and a legal fight to making any kind of payment, and, no fucking apology!!!!
Muslims have been using the Western court system and democratic laws for monetary gain for decades.
Khadr was not a child, he was a molded into a jihadist; not by Canada or the Canadian tax payer. Who threw that grenade?

Excellent commentary as usual Brian Lilley. The sum of a man should be the total of his achievements subtracted from by the total of his evils. In the case of Omar Khadr scion of Canada’s first family of terror and Justin Trudeau heir of a highly controversial political dynasty and himself arguably the most disappointing and polarizing of a ‘Canadian Prime Ministers’, it is a remarkably low sum indeed.

“Lawyers acting for the widow of an American special forces soldier have filed an application in Canada seeking to enforce a massive U.S. damages award against Omar Khadr … the applicants might ask for an order blocking Ottawa from paying Khadr any compensation.”

Better hope that lien works. Otherwise one second after that money is transferred into Khadr’s account it will disappear overseas to God knows where.

Liza Rosie says (to me): "his life in Gitmo was far better than any prisoner in a Canadian jail receives today, so cry me a river… "

Liza, are you a Canadian? If so speak up.

Do you have any loyalty at all to the Crown which guarantees our rights? Would you be willing to swear allegiance to the Queen as all new citizens do?

Do you have any respect for our democratic system by which we elect a representative parliament? You may disagree with the political position of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and loyal Opposition, but do you at least have some respect for the system?

Do you respect and abide by the rule of law in Canada? It is a system of justice admired around the world. It was the Supreme Court that ruled in this particular case. Do you have any respect for our courts?

Liza Rosie, you should be ashamed of yourself. If the U.S. prison in Cuba is so attractive to you, you should ask them to set you up in a room.

At you a Canadian? If so speak up proudly.
