One capitalist response to PanAm Games highway regulations? HOV passengers for hire!

Rebel Staff

In response to all of the controversy over the PanAm Games-HOV lanes, Uber has implemented a new car-pooling app called "Uber Pool."

Not wanting to miss out on a potential money-making opportunity, we offer ourselves up as passengers as part of our "HOV-Uber" service -- a mutually beneficial way to give traffic-weary Toronto drivers a chance to ride in the fast lane.

The reviews were mixed: "I haven't moved this fast on the Gardiner in the morning in years!" and "You're insane" but overall, we thought our experiment was a success.

That doctor was scary. I would say, since no one paid you one red cent it was a failure, good way to get around for free though. Funny as usual.
