Ontario PC "Elites", Carbon Taxes, & "Princess" Caroline Mulroney

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, David "The Menzoid" Menzies joined me to discuss the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party leadership race.

Christine Elliott tweeted out her opposition to a carbon tax, but David explains that the wording of her tweet and her six-figure patronage appointment from Kathleen Wynne indicate she might take a softer stance on the carbon tax once elected.

Caroline Mulroney's campaign has indicated that she will enact Patrick Brown's "People's Guarantee", including the carbon tax. I don't think she would even be a candidate for leader if it wasn't for her last name, and David wasn't impressed after hearing Mulroney interviewed on CFRB.

WATCH my interview to see why David thinks Doug Ford's anti-elite message is his ticket to victory and that opposing the carbon tax is a must for the next PC leader.

Ford is the Disruptor that is needed to turn this province around. His popularity in the GTA should not be underestimated and its’ influence in provincial elections is paramount. No to carbon tax is the only reasonable platform, otherwise all credibility is lost to this hyperbolic Ponzi scheme.

Andrew Stephenson,

According to Liza – the CBC pays me to be here and “troll” or as you and I call it – opposing opinion and debate.

I wish I was being paid. I would totally hook you up with the CBC.

“DON’T RESPOND to anything they say.”

Well, in principle, you’re right, JAN G. but Ezra’s hit meter would really suffer if the weenie-whackers buggered off.

Liza Rosie:

Who do I contact to get paid? That sounds like a fantastic deal. In the meantime I bet you don’t have a scrap of evidence to support that claim, though.

Speaking of paid trolls, I wonder if Doug Ford is giving any financial donations to the Rebel? Apparently, Kellie Leitch was, and beyond the obvious ad campaign, most were undisclosed. Might explain the flattering articles, wouldn’t it?

Elliot’s the clear favourite. Ford and Mulroney are essentially tied (Mulroney trails by less than margin of error) in second/third.

Trying to bring down Mulroney will only strengthen Elliot’s already prodigious lead, since there is strong overlap between the vote pools of those two. This strategy is risky business when you’re playing with ranked balloting and your choice candidate hasn’t got any down-ballot potential.

Once in awhile I enjoy an opportunity to whatever with them, but generally I skip over his/their comments.
DON’T RESPOND to anything they say.
They will be speaking to deaf ears.

Man does not and cannot control climate. This climate change nonsense is hubris. None of the Alarmists’ predictions have come true. The little warming which has occurred has been beneficial. Even if the theory of AGW was valid, and it is not, carbon taxes will do nothing to solve the problem. Carbon taxes are nothing more than a tax grab and virtue signalling. Why is it that everyone in favour of abortion needs to signal their virtue?

Being the child of a former Prime Minister is objectively a disqualifier. They lack the advantage of deprivation. Even the great Ronald Reagan’s children are uninspiring. Trudope is not just incompetent, he a freaking embarrassment.

I heard radio station CFRA host Rob Snow talking with former CFRA legend Lowell Green a few days ago. Both solidly behind Mulroney, and both obviously anti-Ford. Green based his enthusiastic support for Mulroney on the fact that he liked an interview she did with him when she had a job with an obscure Cable TV channel. Snow just figured that she was the only one who could win the election for the PCs.

Funny eh, two smart men using pretty well the same degree of logic as turdo la doo’s shallow fans did.

A lot of water has gone under the bridge since Ford lost the mayoral race. People are fed up with Wynne and want someone who can beat her. The party seems happy with the status quo or they wouldn’t be putting Brown, Elliott or Mulroney forward as their as their best. People don’t want the carbon tax and are definitely done with the creepy pedo sex ed. Neither Elliott or Mulroney want to change anything. I hope the people of Ontario realise what they have in Ford. I would sure like to see him say no to Ottawa and the carbon tax.

Ford doesn’t need to win the majority of seats in Toronto, he merely needs to take a bite out of the apple, the rest of the Province will be with him.

As a conservative, I can honestly say that the last person I want to see as leader is another Mulroney. The last one didn’t do so well. She doesn’t look like a leader anyway. She says “I am a hard worker”. Sorry, this is not a job interview for an administrative assistant position.

liza rosie,

Why are you ignoring the fallacy of those numbers?

Here is Doug Ford’s vote from the 2014 Toronto mayoral election converted into ridings.
Two ridings with over 60%.
Four ridings with 50%-60%.
Five ridings with 40%-50%.

Doug Ford can win Toronto, so the communist forces will be working over time to destroy him!
commented 2018-02-07 14:35:58 -0500
Mark, absolutely. Doug Ford is the one and only choice.
commented 2018-02-07 14:34:25 -0500
Mark, I do not see the logic in not throwing him outta here. That troll is ruining the comment sections on the Rebel, he continually breaks every rule on here and sabotages the conversation. I would bet money he is a paid troll. Why else would he have been here everyday since the Rebel started. He’s a paid disrupter, the antifa of the comment section, nothing but a thug. You can’t have a conversation with a thug. His defense is, we don’t like different opinions. It has the same effect as when they call us racist, it is meant to shut us up and intimidate us into putting up with it. I don’t think we should put up with it. I flag him all the time. Maybe everyone should. There is censoring and then there is throwing an idiot out of your house. Getting rid of this troll would be like throwing an idiot out of your house. Enough is enough. He is a paid troll and shouldn’t be here.
There was another one in the early days and was something else. They were either banned or died because they stopped posting altogether.

I hope you have learned what you get when you vote for the name . Lisa there is no choice here .
But watch out for Davie Crocket or what ever his real name is .
commented 2018-02-07 13:11:58 -0500
The Mulroney name isn’t much to ride on. We called him lyin Brian for a reason. If Elliott, Carolyn and Doug Ford are the choices, there will be no contest.
Then Wynne will get knocked out of the park. People are so sick of that witch.
commented 2018-02-07 13:00:47 -0500
… Ford is the man for our times.
… Mulroney would not even be a politician were it not for the free ride on her father’s name. I’m not against her, but she is as weak as she looks.
