Osborne predicts UK will keep “free movement” post-Brexit

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

Freedom of movement is one of the "four freedoms" that EU membership requires – so when we leave the EU, we were expected to scrap freedom of movement.

In fact, one of the reasons why Barnier, EU’s chief Brexit negotiator, has been so difficult to negotiate with is because freedom of movement is required to stay in their internal market.

The politicians want us to stay in the internal market, and Barnier has advised them at every step this isn’t possible without compromising those four freedoms.

So it’s interesting to hear George Osborne predict that the UK will maintain freedom of movement. Is that a sign of things to come?

The whole Brexit movement was started because of the massive influx of undesirable migrants. If May is so stupid that she agrees with unrestricted movement across the boarders then she deserves to get the boot…Toot Sweet.
