Patrick Brown “delusional” to the end of failed re-entry into PC leadership race

David MenziesMission Specialist

First Patrick Brown was vying to be premier, then he was out. Then he jumped back into the race to become PC leader again, then he was out.

Brown may well have gotten a raw deal from CTV with their report on women who claimed he acted in a sexually inappropriate manner toward them.

Maybe, all this aside, you are or were a loyal supporter and thought the People’s Guarantee was the most important political document since the Magna Carta, but after the last month the question must be asked – is this man delusional?

Even Brown’s four-page resignation letter is itself a work of delusion. And we’d be remiss if we didn’t consider the timeline of his resignation.

One day before his latest announcement, it was revealed the Ethics Commissioner will investigate Brown due to a complaint from PC MPP Randy Hillier questioning how he could afford the mortgage on his $2.3M house and allegations that he violated rules for MPPs in failing to declare all sources of income.

Then there’s the smouldering dumpster fire that is the Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas riding.

In the delusional world of Patrick Brown, these damning events are merely coincidental to him stepping down. He’s just doing what’s right for the party, his family and friends. Is anyone buying this?

But there’s got to be someone even MORE delusional than Patrick Brown and that would be whoever put up the now forfeited $100K deposit for his entry into the race!

After the Trump campaign, I absolutely do not give any polls my attention, they have NO credibility. They are seemingly just trying to favor the candidate of their choice. And if they are putting Elliot or Mulroney in the lead, I really know they are trying to promote them, so people will be inclined to vote for them. Everybody wants to control the outcome. My money is on Doug for the win. Glad they got rid of Brown, the campaign and debates would have been a circus and been all about in fighting with Brown. In the last debate, Mulroney criticized the others and said that she was the one that asked Brown to step aside for the party. It strikes me, being as he favored her, that Mulroney cut a deal with Brown. Maybe to pay for his entry fee but one thing is clear, Brown would not stand down unless there was something in it for him. If she wins he will probably be appointed to the Deputy Premier Position or something of that nature. If Mulroney wins, nothing changes. And if Elliot wins, again I don’t think anything will change.

I think Ontario needs an intervention. Like what happened in US. Pray

Lets crowdfund a one way ticket for Vinny to Sweden. He’d love it there.
Who says we’re not compassionate. Plus we’d be doing Toronto a favour too.

What happened to Brown was disgraceful but I would not vote for a PC party led by him. I’m sick of watching the PC party lose election after election with their Liberal-lite policies. For me it’s Ford, Allen or the Trillium Party. I don’t see the point of ousting Wynne & keeping the Liberal party platform in place.

Tanya has zero chance of winning – don’t you people get that? Brown was killing her in the polls when he came back in.

It really is amazing how people here just keep their head in the sand. Brown actually had a real shot at being PC leader again, but morons here think that a dead last candidate would have taken down Brown.

Toronto Sun has always had a hard on for Ford Nation, so that’s no surprise. Joe Warmington would endlessly defend Rob Ford’s clown show of crack, roaming the streets drunk and having enough pussy to eat at home.

There you go – your MSM conservative source: The Toronto Sun

Brown was lucky he didn’t go to the debate, Tanya would have eviscerated him.

Go Doug go… I hope he may consider politics at the federal level. Are you so stupid that you would compare Kellie Leitch as a Donald Trump… Because that is what you were implying… Donald Trump is a hard-core conservative and Kellie Leitch was a liberal wearing a blue jacket..
And Jimmy… I can clearly tell that you only wish and hope that the sex education curriculum for children as young as grade 3 is not an issue so that you may have more eight-year-olds dressing in drag with your full support to feed homosexual pedophiles who without conscription would find their ranks diminishing because of their inability to reproduce.!! You’re a sick little monkey jimmy and if you had a shred of honour left you would fall on your sword or step out in front of a bus or subway train or at the very least take the painless way out with a heroin overdose… I would at least respect you if you did that..!!! you are less than human, leave the children alone.!!
I can only assume you’re talking about my house but you don’t worry about my house jimmy… i’ve been mortgage free for years from all that oil money that at one time used to float around Alberta.. but then you’re kind is only capable of insulting people because you have no game and you have no shame…

Toronto Sun Poll: Who won the debate?:
Doug Ford 40.57%
Christine Elliott 25.65%
Tanya Granic Allen 5.69%
Caroline Mulroney 11.55%
No obvious winner 16.54%
I thought Doug won, Christine second, but I loved Tanya’s fighting spirit.

Trump would lose in Canada – Kellie Leitch learned that the hard way, but don’t let logic get in your way of spewing the thoughts that come into your head.

Doug Ford for Premier and he will self right that province and when he does that he should run at the federal level for Canada’s top job… Doug Ford for prime minister… He is Canada’s Donald Trump.!!

Seriously!……Jimmy, Sarah, James is now Vincent. There is a serious mental disorder that inflicts this troll and it is evident that there is no help for this parasite. Well, self depopulating is an option that could help some poor souls in need.
Not surprising that this sicko would support a patty Brown type. Pathetic!

If I wasn’t right in what I am saying, Allen would have a shot. She doesn’t have a hope in hell in becoming leader, so clearly the sex ed issue is not a priority for Ontario families. Even Mulroney has more support and she said that she would not reopen the sex ed curriculum.

Do you need me to draw you a picture in crayon for you to understand the PC leader race and what issues are important to people and families and what issues are very low in priority?
commented 2018-03-01 01:38:32 -0500
Ontario is full of cucks it seems. Wonder how many of them are closet pedophiles since they do not protest the grooming of kids by schools.
commented 2018-03-01 01:37:47 -0500
Vincent quit speaking for others.
commented 2018-03-01 00:44:10 -0500
Allen has like 8% support.

She is this year’s Kellie Leitch.

Are you that self absorbed that you can’t see that the sex ed issue is WAY DOWN the list of priorities for Ontarians?
commented 2018-03-01 00:26:26 -0500
Speaking of Mulroney , she’s not too fast on her feet.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DXK5SJmWsAAVoVt.jpg

…and she’s a hypocrite. Big surprise, her kids go to private school and she says she advocates for parental choice when it comes to the ‘best education for your children’, but then says she won’t open the sex ed curriculum.

That issue and the carbon tax vacillation, is going to sink Mulroney, and Elliot. This race will be between Ford and Allen. Allen may be tough on sex ed, which is great, but there is no way she has the experience to run all the aspects of a province. Besides, it is time for Ontario to have some testosterone running things. Between the mayor and Wynne there hasn’t been much of that for some time.

I am a liberal and I will be voting for Elliott. I hate Wynne, so yes – because everyone is sick of Wynne, Elliott will win if she is leader.
commented 2018-02-28 23:35:04 -0500
Allen is an idiot, who doesn’t understand how law and contracts work. It’s no surprise that she is dead last in the polls.

Let’s be honest, all she really cares about is the sex ed program, which is obviously a very low priority for Ontarians, hence Allen getting no traction.
commented 2018-02-28 23:24:52 -0500
Tanya Grenic Allen is the only one with any conviction. She’s not afraid to raise the issues of corruption within the PC party and Mulroney’s involvement. She’s all for out with the old, in with the new. That means, anyone associated with Brown and his old corrupted followers. Remember all the MPPs who voted in favour of everything and anything Brown wanting them to vote for? They’re sucking up to Mulroney now. Get rid of them.

If Christine Elliott didn’t win the other two times she tried, does anyone thing she’ll win now, especially against Wynne?
commented 2018-02-28 22:38:34 -0500
Glad to here Brown is out. So long traitor.

That was excellent David! I think Patrick is middle-aged crazy, and I would guess that it wasn’t his money that he tore up and threw into the wind. He certainly wasn’t a conservative and hopefully the ethics commissioner can determine where the cash was flowing in from.
“Glue factory nag” – I love it!

Vincent. Uh oh – you called Doug Ford a clown. Umm, you recall somebody else being called that a little over a year ago?!?! Not a smart thing to assert is it? It’s as bad as laughing at Liza when we can all tell for ourselves her posts contain critical thought. So who’s REALLY lacking in critical thought here Vince?
commented 2018-02-28 21:17:04 -0500
Vinny, ask your handlers to explain your condition to you.
commented 2018-02-28 19:56:03 -0500
Thinking critically since you were 20.

LOL.

Is that what you call your lack of intelligence with pretty much every post you make on here – thinking critically?

Thanks for that. You truly made me laugh.

Things are looking pretty grim for conservatism in Canada these days…I don’t blame good conservative people for not stepping forward into leadership roles and correcting all the liberal created problems, especially in the face of all the criminal and destructive opposition – like Donald Trump is so beautifully doing in America!
I just wish some good conservative leaders would step up…across Canada.

I wonder what’s wrong with us that we need leaders to help us…even us conservatives.
commented 2018-02-28 18:25:15 -0500
Never. I have been thinking critically since I was 20. I would no more vote liberal as I would for the Green party.
commented 2018-02-28 17:36:11 -0500
It’s hilarious the love you have for Doug Ford, who couldn’t be more of a clown.

I am glad that it’s looking like Christine Elliott will win and she has my vote. See – I acknowledge that Wynne is terrible.

When was the last time you voted Liberal, like I am going to vote PC?
commented 2018-02-28 17:03:08 -0500
You can’t do an about face on essential positions, positions which got you elected in the first place and get away with it. All politicians should take heed to Browns crash and burn.
