Patrick Brown is wrong: “Revenue neutral carbon taxes don’t exist”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Guest hosting for Ezra Levant while he is on a fact-finding mission in Israel, Jerry Agar talks to Christine Van Geyn, Ontario director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. Their new billboard campaign targets a pro-carbon tax politician — that is, the province's Progressive Conservative leader, Patrick Brown.

The problem with just about all right wing politicians, is that they are just too damn afraid of looking like a bigot or some kind of climate change denier. If the right wing politicans can not speak up for us, then we don’t need them.

We need Donald Trump.

Doug Ford for Conservative Leader!

Revenue neutral tax. What is that?

A non sequitur, or an oxymoron?

And Peter Alkerton ,You can add the wheenies out in Alberta to the list of feckless leaders that stand for absolutely nothing. Demand that the word “PROGRESSIVE” be removed from PC and changed to Conservative and you will see all the rats come out in the open to defend their progressive hearts and souls.
First question that should be asked of a leader is: Did you ever have a fight in the schoolyard when you were a kid? Ever had your ass whomped? defending your positions.
I’m serious. If you are unwilling to stand for anything, chances are you have gone through life never having to assert yourself and defend yourself. You can do it with dignity , with resolve and even humour. But wear your values on your sleeve or leave..
The British use the phrase “Go forth and multiply” in polite circles to replace another familiar piece of advise. We need people that are firm in their convictions and are willing to tell the liberal media and the liberal progressive socialists to take a hike. And that should go for all the liberal types that have wormed their way into conservative parties and destroyed them. Ditch them first .

Hudak,Tory,Brown, all liberal lites trying to be more politically correct then the liberals. Time for a new conservative party.

Space Moose , Those of us that live outside the moated Castle City of Toronto have no say in how the Province is run and no say in how the leaders of the PC party are chosen. Anyone with half a brain knew that Tim Hudak was a poor candidate. Not a bad guy but a lousy choice for leader. Same with Brown. Just another wimpy faced guy with no backbone slaved to the party elites that chose him. I am not a conspiracy guy but maybe the party and the money behind it are all liberal plants that choose these feckless leaders that they know are losers to ensure victory of the Liberals. It is really pathetic.

Show me a $ that has ever emerged whole from any government. Not even new cars devalue as fast. Pennies on the dollar is not revenue neutral & the only pocket-taxpayer’s, always gets picked.

The Ontario cons need to find a new leader. This guy is just plain inept.

Anybody else experience the fact that the “share via e-mail” button doesn’t work?….

I don’t understand this concept of policies being revenue neutral frequently being espoused by politicians. If a tax is going to be revenue neutral, why bother going through all the work and expense of putting it in place in the first place?
commented 2017-03-11 23:45:36 -0500
Revenue neutral tax = oxymoron.
I guess when the sheeple have had enough bitching they will actually hit the streets en masse to be heard.
Or maybe the sheeple will hit the streets and be herded..

Paddy Brown
His pants fell down
And every one could see
A tiny pair
With peach fuzz hair
As green as green can be

Brown will use us again to simply get himself into that position, the way he used us to get into the role he’s in now.
We were hoodwinked.

Only when we are taxed 100% will it be revenue neutral, since all our revenue will be neutralized.
commented 2017-03-11 17:25:22 -0500
NO MORE TAXES!

It’s a simple enough message isn’t it? Why do politicians not comprehend it?
commented 2017-03-11 17:21:23 -0500
Remember the GST was going to be revenue neutral. Now the most productive and efficient tx of ll. Carbon Tax is just another GST,

Patrick Brown refunded the memberships of every real tory and kicked them out of the party. Patrick Brown is a liberal Manchurian candidate. Beware, we have a couple of them in the federal party as well.

IF THE PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVE PARTY WANTS TO BE THE GOVERNMENT OF ONTARIO get rid of Patrick Brown I said GET RID OF PATRICK BROWN FIRE HIM CHOSE ANOTHER LEADER.
The PCP will not form the Ontario government. We Ontarian’s don’t want another tax we don’t want another Liberal government. We need a leader with vision we need a leader with courage to speak the truth to these socialists. We need a leader that will prosecute this Lieberal scandal ridden government we need a person who is strong enough to reduce spending and start paying the lieberal debt.
IF THE PCP WANTS TO FORM THE GOVERNMENT GET RID OF Patrick brown what a disappointment.

So what exactly separates Brown from Wynne? They both like carbon taxes, they both wish to fully ‘accommodate’ Islam and migrants and they both are ‘presumably’ attracted to women. Hudak tried the ‘liberal lite’ pitch and it failed. Oh, let me guess, he’ll play the ‘scandal’ card, as in he’ll do everything she did, but scandal free. Well judging by past elections, liberal scandals were dead last on the average Ontario voters mind. So basically, Ontario is completely screwed. And so then is the rest of the country. Anybody remember the ‘fire wall’ letter Klein? Separation is impossible with todays demographics but we still have constitution tools to say ‘piss off’, ust look at Quebec they’ve used thme for decades. Forget American elites fleeing into Canada, if Trudeau pisses Trump off on trade and we get walled off from their prosperity expect our elites to flee south like rats from a sinking ship.
