Payback for extorted dues money? Labour Minister defends pro-union, anti-worker Bill C-4

Brian LilleyArchive

When it comes to secret ballots and union certification, Labour Minister MaryAnn Mihychuk continues to try and defend the indefensible by not standing up for the right to a secret ballot for unionized workers in federally regulated industries.

Listen as she claims that removing the secret ballot will create a level playing field when everybody knows, it will do the exact opposite.

But, I guess no one should be surprised. The Liberals owe the union bosses for their hard work and all the extorted dues money they contributed to help them win the last election.

This is yet more of the comedy show she gave us when she couldn’t answer my direct questions about what was actually in the bills the Liberals were repealing.

I wonder if there’s something in the Charter about this? I know it says unions have a right to form and the number of votes needed. Not sure if it says anything about voting rules. I’ll have to check n see.

Nathan W the OPP commercials were illegal, what planet do you live on? And sorry but it is not the unions business to bully members.

Nathan…..nothing is impossible in the Lieberal word of deceit. Everyone knows that, including you but your just willfully blind too it. When one of these progressive fuctakrds lies, all the rest swear by it. It really is a mental illness, quite sad in fact. (sigh)

Unions should stick to what they were originally created for, to settle disputes between Employees and Employers. Now they are nothing more than Marxist thugs, in bed with the Marxist Thugs that misrule our Country. The majority of Union bosses should be in jail, as should all Liberal Politicians.

Is Mihychuk related to a well fed ‘wood chuck’ ?

We have returned to the Hoffa days of union political incest – this time it’s the public sector unions which are buying politicians – probably the greatest conflict of interest/breech of public trust in a century, but all you hear are crickets chirping in the MSM.

Deborah Graupner – "It’s through the unions that UN funneled money to take down the conservatives.

Or maybe, since that’s illegal and essentially impossible, the unions just didn’t like Harper because Harper liked to pick unnecessary fights with unions.

The groupies in the back ground, when a Liberal is telling more lies , all look the same. Just look at those ’down turned ’ mouths. It is almost comical. Are they being stern , are they pissed off or are they just attempting to stop their giggling ?

It’s through the unions that UN funneled money to take down the conservatives. All those recent layoffs are those they hired with the money from the UN to keep yapping and spreading lies and mistruths about PM Harper.

any doubts now that unions are nothing more than corrupt leftist political mercenaries running an extortion racket stealing money from workers?
any doubts now that the union mafia is funneling that extorted money to their liberal masters?
any doubts now that actions by corrupt liberal mafioso’s is too maintain union control over workers?

Dear Diary;
I just love watching the news on Canadian television. CBC for sure, but also CTV and Global.
Bill and I are having great fun lying about inheriting deficits. While we prepare to rack up real deficits the size of which are hitherto unknown, I’m busy giving away billions of dollars to other countries to help them cope with their weather, withdrawing air cover for Canadian troops in the middle east, letting Indian chiefs hide the money they skim off, letting corrupt union bosses hide where their member’s money goes, but clearly let them see whom they can intimidate and bully, and so on but, of course, it must be obvious that my real love, and the reason I’ve been given this job, is to promote the growth of radical Islam.
So, now that I’ve ensured that anti-Semitism and sympathy for Islamic terrorism is well represented in my cabinet, and that I’ve prayed the Shahada prayer of conversion to Islam in that Montreal mosque, I’m evicting armed forces personnel from their homes to provide shelter for “refugees”, building mosques on their bases, spending tax dollars on religious items such as Korans, prayer mats and foot-washing towels, shutting down the Office of Religious Freedom, resuming the flow of millions of dollars to the UNRWA to support Islamic terrorist organizations in Palestine, lift sanctions on Iran to enable them to sponsor even more Islamic terrorism, using the “refugee crisis” as a cover for importing as many Muslims into Canada that can be shanghaied out of Amman and Beirut, interfering with the Department of Justice to ensure that convicted murdering terrorists are at liberty to freely roam within Canada.
Meanwhile, the Canadian news reports:
Montreal will ban single-use plastic bags
B.C. mayor wears the same suit for 15 months
Woman loses $800 in online puppy scam
Trudeau to march in Toronto pride parade
Missing penguins may still be alive

Brian, as you say, this is payback for the union support to get the Liberals elected. Laughable this post at he Canadian Labor Council web site from June 2015 accusing Harper of rigging the SEnate to pass Bill C-377 (requiring unions to reveal details of their spending to the CRA), and in a second breath declaring that “that unions are far more democratic, transparent and accountable to their members than this prime minister and his government are to taxpayers”:
As well, declaring Bill C-525 (a law that changed how unions can certify and decertify) as being “undemocratic and unfair”:
The CLC applauded the Liberal government’s “good sense” in repealing these laws, with CLC president Hassan Yussuff saying “We commend Minister Mihychuk for her leadership in repealing this legislation and restoring a balanced labour relations framework for federal workers". “Balanced”? Hmm, the Liberals even get their talking points from their union bosses!

There is no place for pubic sector unions in modern society. They are a dinosaur that needs extinction.

How can any citizen possibly support taking away the secret ballot?
