Nomination meeting “chaos” UPDATE: Are social conservatives welcome in Brown’s “inclusive” PC Party?

David MenziesMission Specialist

Ontario Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown loves to trumpet how inclusive his purportedly new-and-improved PC Party is, but there is apparently precious little inclusion for those who are social conservatives.

Take, for example, what happened in the riding of Scarborough Centre in late June when a nomination meeting erupted in chaos amidst charges of fraud.

The PC Party’s preferred candidate, Thenusha Parani, carried the day.

We recently caught up with the candidate preferred by the riding association, Raphael Rosch.

Watch as I share what he said about all that happened, and the apparent double standard applied among candidates.

It all invites the question:

Is there room for social conservatives in Patrick Brown’s PC Party?

As previously reported, there are no major policy differences between the Liberals and the PCs at the moment, so what alternative exists for those conservatives who want change?

There seems to be an undercurrent of arrogance in Patrick Brown and his senior staffers as they continue to alienate the party’s grassroots supporters.

What the hell is going on?

David, you asked whether there is an alternative to Brown the brown nose and his PCs – well here it is: The Trillium Party of Ontario. One MPP has already joined them, after being practically forced out of the PC caucus by Brown and his apparatchiks. It’s time for all Ontario Conservatives to follow suit. Maybe you can do an interview or two with their leaders, help them get the message out, so that at least they have the time and the resources to run full slate in the next election (which is just 8 months away).

Don’t give Brown any of your hard earned money. Let him sink financially and maybe the conservative party will get a hint that real conservatives can’t stand this snake.

Kelly and Andrew, a party that is not social conservative is not conservative at all. The list made by Harold Hoff show that they are no different than the Liberals or NDP. They also end up never being financially conservative either so what exactly is the point of their existence? Their point is to infiltrate the Conservative parties of the nation so that no matter who you vote for you are voting for a lefty.

Advertising 30 flavours of ice cream but scooping out only vanilla is lying. As soon as Conservatives modify themselves by adding adjectives in front of the word “conservative” they are lying. You know they are not conservatives. Even the Paul Martin Liberals managed to reduce the deficit for a while. That hardly made them fiscal conservatives.

Kelly Weber many in Ontario are conservative, try looking outside the cities.

Andrew the left tells us how to live our lives far more than the right. What planet do you live on? Or is censoring speech an act of freedom?

1. Ontario PCs called looking for money. As soon as I started said I do not agree with Brown on issues, the guy was going to hang up. I told him I was polite enough to listen to him, now he’s going to listen to me. I am a social conservative, blah blah blah. My last comment was the PC party needs a new leader.

2. Ron Voss: Cheryl Gallant is also pro-life. I’m sure Rempel didn’t want her around.

3. PAFE has good information on this subject (parents opposing sex ed)

4. Andrew Stephenson: Are you familiar with the part where the sun doesn’t shine?

Kelly Weber commented – “My dog 🐶 could run against Wynne and win.”

You have a gay dog?

When Brown won I said to myself, “Oh no!”

When he opened his mouth, and from observing what he has done, again I said, “Oh no!”

So, with him at the helm, I see Wynne winning again. and again, and again.

Maybe Brown should understand his limitations and step down. Sooner than later.

He actually wants to win an election, and social conservatives are a problem with that largely because they tend to be hostile towards certain groups, the opposite of “inclusiveness” (you may realize the contradiction inherent in that – but if one group is causing all the problems in an otherwise harmonious affair, then blocking that one group is for the greater good)

I wonder if SoCons will ever realize that nobody appreciates their insistence on telling other people how to live their lives. Long story short, social conservatism has no place in modern governance, or even small c conservatism which advocates for less regulation, not more.

MAURICE POTVIN, re “The emasculation of the pc party has occurred right across the board at all levels of government, It’s blatant with Andrew Scheer”:
Conservative MP Cheryl Gallant represents the eastern Ontario riding which includes CFB Petawawa. Ever since September, 2003, Conservative leaders (mostly Harper but continuing with Ambrose) kept a spot for her on the House of Commons Standing Committee on National Defence. Until today. New Conservative leader Andrew Scheer stripped her of that committee seat today. Gallant, an MP since 2000, has no committee assignments and no formal role with the defence committee.
Payback from Smil’n Andy for her being the sole Conservative MP daring to stand in opposition to the Liberal motion affirming the Paris Accord, the Liberal justification for a carbon tax, while the other CPC MPs present were whipped to vote in favour of the motion. Pathetic!

Because of Brown, more and more socially conservative people are moving to the Trillium Party. I’ve already emailed him and told him why….

Brown supports Wynne’s policies as follows:

1) The Sexual perversion of children in school via a graphic Sex/Ed curriculum engineered by a convicted child-sex offender. Preteens do not need to know how to masturbate or have anal sex. promoting this is Child Abuse. Full Stop

2) The Carbon-tax which does absolutely nothing to change the climate but further impoverishes Ontario and drives more business and employment over to Michigan and Ohio.

3) A Gender-ideology agenda taught in Kindergarten to confuse children about their sex / gender. 40% of gender-confused people commit suicide. This is more toxic to children in schools than asbestos ever was, and promoting this is Child Abuse. Full Stop.

4) ON Bill 89 which gives CAS more over-reach to apprehend and traffic children from families who do not actively pursue gender reassignment at the 4 or 5 year old’s whim. Surgically altering a young child on a whim is Child Abuse. Stealing the child from parents who protect them from that is also Child Abuse. My kindergarten child thought he was Superman one day, I did NOT facilitate this fantasy by throwing him out the third floor window despite his belief that he could fly….

I think you’re getting a pattern here. The “Progressives” are predatory people, particularly on children, and keep pushing the mainstreaming of pedophilia among other trends. I will NOT in good conscience support anyone who thinks these things are normal or OK, and vehemently fight any more governmental over-reach designed to harm children and tear up the nuclear family. Brown supports this – he’s a Leftists plant designed to take down the PC Party. and it will work, my vote is GONE

Social conservatives don’t have a hope in hell of getting elected in Ontario so they’re right keeping him out.

I’m becoming quite convinced these fake conservative politicians are actually liberal imposters working for the Liberal Party of Canada. This is how determined they are to completely wipe out conservatism in this country. If I’m wrong, then they’re obviously just epic fools.

He’s just another narcissistic liar. It seems politics attracts these snakes in droves. And they are trying to destroy anything and everything conservative. It’s truly sickening! His bank accounts and that of his wife’s should be audited.

tried telling everyone he is no different than trudeau or wynne, a year ago and here we are. Just like I tried warning everyone about what trudeau is- well before the election , and again, here we are!

The emasculation of the pc party has occurred right across the board at all levels of government, It’s blatant with Andrew Scheer, so why would Patrick Brown be any different? There may still be some hope in Saskatchewan, and maybe Alberta once they get rid of Notely, but, politically speaking, I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel anywhere else. Our once great country is hooped.

You got it, WILLIAM.

Paddy Brown
His pants fell down
And all the kids could see
A tiny pair
With peach fuzz hair
As pink as pink can be

There is not any difference between the PCs and the pervy Liberals – If I voted in that cesspool I’d be looking for either an independent candidate or a Libertarian candidate.
