A trumpeter was attacked during a concert at a cathedral near Buenos Aires by parents of children he molested.
42-year-old Marcelo Fabian Pecollo was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2010 for molesting five preschool children. He was released only four years later after a sentence reduction.

According to The Daily Mail, Pecollo was arrested in 2007 after a mother complained that her four-year-old child had been abused. Six other cases later came to light.
On October 30, parents from a preschool where he allegedly molested children barged into the cathedral. Pecollo tried to escape, but the parents caught up to him and proceeded to beat him to death. One parent even began striking him with his own trumpet, according to a witness.
“He was in a very, very bad way, until the police and ambulance arrived. He was in a coma and died on Friday,” a priest said.
