Plus-size model Natalie Hage was “fat shamed” on flight? Good.

I was appalled by footage shared by plus-size model and Instagram celebrity Natalie Hague.

When she was “fat-shamed” by a fellow passenger on a recent flight, Hague took to social media to “shame” the passenger back.

Now I’ve got a few choice words for Hague.

Janice Kay—Your post reminded me of a few years ago, I was watching a news special of the HMCS Toronto about to leave Halifax for a 3 month tour of duty. A friend and I noticed that many Sailors wives were obese, even though many were only in their early 30’s. None had a dress or a skirt on, mostly ripped blue jeans with tops that said things like ZIP ME.
I then took out a 40’s tape filmed from New Westminster BC where the wives were saying goodbye to the Sailors going off to War. They were dressed up with their hair looking great, and we never saw any obese women.
Times have changed. I realize that not all people can control their weight because of different health problems, but the majority can try.

This is really raising the bar on low brow.

I am saddened that my comment contributes to the, ahem, coverage she seeks, as opposed to that which she needs.

If you look at the old black and white films from the 40’s, women from all walks of life are slim and attractively dressed. Think of the shop girls in Netflix’s Mr Selfridge. It’s sad to see how women have changed!

That’s what I call one huge snowflake!
Proud to show pics of her chub rub?
I don’t think fat people should be shamed unless of course they are belligerent like this morbidly obese model, however ‘fat’ should not be accepted as just another body type.

The truth is always good: Fat people eat too much and die young.

Sorry – people will be people – I stopped watching – not because of the fat lady, but because of the Rebel Contributor – Lucy Brown.
