POLL: Most Canadians oppose Omar Khadr's relaxed bail conditions

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

As you know, last week a judge in Alberta relaxed confessed terrorist and convicted war criminal Omar Khadr’s bail conditions.

The judge took off Khadr's tracking anklet, removed police monitoring software from his computer -- and he's now allowed to fly on planes, too.

We set up, petitioning the government to appeal. We also raised funds to do a survey, so Canadians could express their opinions on this outrageous decision.

Now the results are in:

On removing the tracking bracelet on Khadr’s ankle, 67% of Canadians disagree, 45% strongly. On removing the police software on his computer to allow them to monitor what he’s doing, 71% of Canadians disagree, 49% of them strongly. And 60% of Canadians oppose his right to fly on jets — with a majority of Canadians in every province opposing this:

Thank you for supporting our poll. These are the kinds of questions that you know not a single mainstream media outlet would ask. They’re in love with this celebrity terrorist, just like our courts are.

I don’t give a shit where Omar goes in Canada as long as he is at least 600 meters down range from me.

Well said Bravo Zulu. Kick him out of this country and show some respect to the family of Christopher Speer. The only paradise Omar is getting is a Naked Elizabeth May. Bloooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh. Just puked my dinner.

Oh my! Just came across this site. Nice to see that Canada has it’s own branch of Tea Party crazies. Better stay well under the radar, guys, for Stephen Harper’s sake.

Bravo Z, I agree, Khadr should never have been brought back here. Thanks Obama for emptying out Gitmo.

Whatever Brinkman.
These are the results of the poll, which of course would have comments. The other was just directing people to the petition. There have been no lack of comments about Khadr on this site, or places to do so. Quit attempting to make it sound as if there isn’t, or that you have anything to do with anything here.

It’s only a matter of time before Khadr does jihadi, maybe then the NDP and Liberals will realize how dangerous Khadr is to Canadians.

The only time a terrorist (Kadr) is called a hero is when he murders an infidel, that is when his fellow jihadists will recognize him as such, why some Canadians even think that he is a hero is beyond my reasoning or comprehension. Has the word hero been watered down that much that some feel the need to call a terrorist that, wow, and who left the asylum door open.

Just the same Mr Brinkman….there were no Canadians on the ground when he was initially apprehended …..troops there were ready to give him the coup-de-gras…….the Americans intervened hoping to squeeze information out of him…..and if he is ever to be held up as a hero… much they squeezed out of him has yet to be told……..:-)

As to the title – of course they do.

However the courts do not give a damn and the libs and dippers support his being free.

Quite frankly I do not believe he should have even been allowed back into Canada – and I do not care if he is a citizen – he should have been banished.

An evil man who laps up the attention. Soon he will find a way to make cash from this – and remember – the taxpayer paid all of his legal fees to boot.
