Pro-pipeline teen attacked by climate activist saved from smear by video footage

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

The kids are alright, at least they are here in Alberta.

On Friday afternoon, about 100 climate activists from Climate Justice Edmonton marched from Churchill Square to the legislature to protest the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion and how we're all going to die in 11 and a one-third years, or whatever the climate Armageddon countdown clock has us at today.

But these aren’t the kids that give me hope for the future. Once the doomsday parade made it to the legislature, they were confronted by a group of well dressed high school graduates in the grounds to have some grad pictures taken.

The high schoolers, mostly boys, chanted “Pipelines! Pipelines!” at the horrified environmentalists.

Wonderful! I’m glad to know these kids graduated from the NDP indoctrination camps of public education and yet, are somehow still pragmatic enough to support pipelines.

At some point during the tense afternoon, while a group of the pro-pipeline grads stood behind the activists who were yelling on the legislature steps, a young environmentalist named “Jada” charged out of the crowd and tried to tackle the boys before being snatched up by the police and eventually released without charges.

What happened next was an attempt by a Climate Justice organizer - an adult named Emma Jackson - and an NDP MLA named Janice Irwin to perpetuate a Covington Catholic School style hoax on the public by spreading a story about a clash between aggressive conservative and gentle, climate change fighting peaceniks.

But just like with the Covington scandal that wasn’t, the lies fell flat when confronted with video.

Today I’ll show you the video of the oil loving teenage heroes speaking up for thousands of Albertans at the legislature, the attack and what led up to it, and how the NDP-Big Green machine revealed themselves to be a bunch of hypocrites for trying to “out” these kids for their peaceful pipeline support.

Who is telling you there is a new definition of ‘attack’? There is only one and thousands now, have seen a perfect example of it with their own eyes. The police didn’t jump on her and haul her away kicking and screaming for nothing.

As Keith said, “Feel embarrassed for yourself that you are unable to identify an attack when you see one.”

Tony, if only the left showed the same respect. Have they ever stood by politely while conservatives have the mic, so to speak? If roles were reversed and there was a scheduled talk and demonstration by pro oil and gas, do you really think it would have occurred without being interrupted by the anti’s? Please. Are you really unaware of the numbers of talks and peaceful demonstrations shut completely down by the left?
I have no sympathy for any group on the left whether it be student or antifa. Its not reciprocated and conservatives are tired of being told to sit down by the mislead left.

That girl ran out of the crowd and attacked unprovoked. She may have been pissed at the high school grads interrupting their protest but that did not give her the right to violently attack a person. She is guilty of assault whether she is charged or not, she is guilty of an unprovoked violent physical attack. There is no other way to describe it. The only reason she wasn’t hauled off to jail and charged is because she was a girl and probably a minor. It was an attack, straight up.

Great response to Tony, probably a CBC fan.
In a fair world, the attacker should have been charged. As I predicted earlier, it doesn’t even look like the Police even got her name. The Graduates should have pressed charges for both the Police inaction and the wild attacker.

Because someone is a bother but not touching you aggressively does not justify an all out physical attack. If it did, I would be putting some of my neighbors in hospital. The person being bothered holding the microphone was not the person that launched the attack. That individual (The Attacker) was not being bothered at all and in fact was no where near the microphone or the two people close to it. Sheila identified this incident as an attack because that is exactly what it was. No need to feel embarrassed for Sheila or The Rebel. Feel embarrassed for yourself that you are unable to identify an attack when you see one. And you fail to give credit to some young men that could of easily put that violent member of the Climate Change Mob in the hospital. These environmentalist Goons amount to nothing more than they are Suzuki’s new batch of Fruit Flies. They use violence, intimidation wherever they go. Even attack police officers and always leave a pile of garbage in their wake for somebody else to clean up.

As much as I totally disagree with the Climate Justice position, they nevertheless have the right to protest and freely assemble…and to do so unmolested. The student that approached the Climate Justice person with the megaphone was in the wrong; you do NOT approach someone in that position from behind and start bothering them, even if you are “just joking”. They have the mike, they are speaking and they have the right to do so. Sorry, but in this instance, the subsequent approach to that student by another Climate Justice protester was justified. I am embarrassed for The Rebel and Sheila Gunn Reid for attempting to portray this incident as an attack.

the ELM[environmental lying movement] will in the end destroy the west, because their tiny little brains reject all sense of freedom of choice and expression. their leader[trudeau] with his non-existant brain] is like them trying his best to silence any critics that have an I.Q. above an ant. lies and being stupid is their true religion.

If someone assaults another person other than in self-defense, the perpetrator should be prosecuted, period. It does not matter if she’s a woman, a leftist, right-wing, green, purple – if the boys had not moved out of her way, they would have been prosecuted to the full extent of the law. These are very smart kids.

The pro-pipeline graduates should be very proud of themselves for standing up for Alberta, our livelihood and our quality of life. I would like to know the name of their high school as well, so I could congratulate this school on a good job done.

First things first, dear god why can’t I ever be around when one of those freaks attacks someone? I would LOVE to get involved. Secondly, Janice Irwin wants to name names and schools? Well I can tell you a few things about her now the she opened that can of worms. I hear she used to be a teacher in a central Alberta school where everyone thought she was a freak then and she’s even proven it more so now. She used to be heterosexual back then as well trying to pick up a few guys but no guy would go out with a woman that has a broader jaw and brow than they do so she went home alone. I hear now she’s switched teams. They all called her Man-woman. Theres so much more I can tell you but we’ll just leave it at that for now. Doesn’t feel so good when people announce things about you that you hoped would remain private, does it Janice.

The left…and their spawn…are such ignorant, self righteous losers that one almost feels sorry for them…almost.
I know you’re not supposed to judge people on their look…but that Janice ‘Lurch’ Irwin is one scary/weird looking dude or whatever…and that’s not even considering the evil and degeneracy it pushes and promotes! And this POS degenerate pinko is a teacher?

Bottom line; what these violent idiot thug lefties need is a good beat down. Next time and every time thereafter they decide to riot, someone wade in and beat them, severely – police or some concerned citizenry, or whomever! Beat their asses and keep beating their asses until they grow up or go away. Violence is what these thugs understand so let’s give them some understanding!
If the police wont do their job – because they have been co-opted by the fascist state – then fuck ‘em, this our country, so let’s take it back from the scum and the swine…and if using violence to defend against state-supported violence is necessary, then go for it…full force!
Passivity in the face of violence is not honourable and it’s about as effective as appeasement!

Thirteen years from now if those girls are reminded of their passion on this day….they will get that twinge that makes you cringe and be anxious to change the subject.

Encouraging to hear the high school grads stand up for pipelines loud and proud. A very good sign indeed.

The way that feral female Tasmanian devil was throwing punches, and her body, I would say that this wasn’t her first rodeo. She was all in. Or she was on drugs, or a jealous lesbian protecting her bitch, and or just a weaponized kid who joined a nasty gang.. She sure as hell should be charged like any other person who commits assault.
So the cops acted promptly and kudos to them but then some higher up let her go. Its not going to end well for these people if justice is not served in these cases.

John Galt, I agree and it will happen. Whether its right or wrong, people aren’t going to ’turn the other cheek and continue to be vilified while the left get off scott free. Not for much longer anyway.

Irwin, I will save my words. What a disgusting comment for a teacher, politician to make. Hypocrite doesn’t even begin to describe her or Jackson. Naaaaaasty hypocritical wimmin.

Rebelation—-They’ll learn how stupid they are when they go to jail and the pipeline still proceeds.
That’s the problem, these Green protesters and Antifa never go to jail.
Ezra, by coincidence did tonight’s program on this very subject. That girl in Edmonton that attacked all those people probably never even got asked her name by police; if it was the Graduates that misbehaved, they would have criminal records if they were over 18.

I’m not sure we should sympathize with useful idiots. They’ll learn how stupid they are when they go to jail and the pipeline still proceeds.

Silly boy running from a girl should have beat her ass.

Peter Netterville : I agree with you in principle…..however I do believe we are approaching a “tipping point” of tolerance and of being responsible adults. We are taught that the legal system is the rational approach and that inappropriate behaviour will be dealt with by the legal system…….
We have been waiting ….and waiting….and waiting….but are discovering that the legal system has very little justice within it.
If someone slaps your face….you may turn the other cheek…..however,how many times will you have to be slapped before you realize the perpetrator is made bold by the fact that the system has not taken action against them and that you have not defended yourself?
Yes…you may be demonized or even arrested for taking a stand(I have been there, myself),but many times, someone who stands their ground can inspire many others to do the same and perhaps….perhaps start a change.
If all you do is wait and depend on the "authorities"to take action and make the corrections…..I think you will come up on the short end if the stick.
I think that throughout history there have been numerous occasions when people have (reluctantly) “beaten ploughshares into swords” because the system was failing them.

Ron Joseph, you are wrong about retaliating “tripping the girl” or any sort of violent reaction. If they do react violently, even if it is justified legally, they become just like the attacker. Conservatives must be the responsible adults in situations like that and pursue only legal by means, not by lowering themselves down by doing violence.
commented 2019-07-02 20:05:59 -0400
The Green Gestapo strikes again! They only like free speech when it agrees with them and their delusions. Let’s hope this violence will be what turns off normal Albertans who need jobs and have no use for fairy-dust technology.

Little MeMe in a bad mood because someone did not think the same way as she did. Small things like that can develop into large things. See video below.

Sheila says at the end, “and thank goodness the High School kids didn’t fight back.”
With a woman’s attitude like Sheila’s, that’s why Conservatives are losing all over North America. The Portland reporter almost got killed and nobody did a thing to anti-fa.

When that crazy bitch was charging the High School kids, one of them should have accidentally tripped her on the cement stairs so that she would lose a few teeth. This would go down as self-defense as the girl was swinging at everyone.

Is it possible that Sheila and many citizens of Alberta are still afraid of the NDP even though they are a fraction of what they once were. It should be the opposite, an NDP should be afraid to mention their political party’s name as almost 80% of the voters voted conservative, plus you have a tough new leader to protect you.
commented 2019-07-02 18:48:13 -0400
But the attacker is of Bush Bunny descent, this means violence is acceptable and there are no consequences to be faced.
