Professor: This Disney movie aimed at kids? It's about rape

Some philosophers think about the meaning of life, and whether you can be moral without God. Philosophy Professor Danielle Layne asks: “Is Moana about Rape?”

Moana was released by Disney in 2016, caused a cultural appropriation Halloween uproar in 2017, but overall it's a pretty standard Disney Princess film. Even if you haven't watched one in decades or ever, it's unlikely you'd benefit from the Gonzaga University lecture that touches on “oppressing women, degrading the environment and erasing/murdering indigenous people.”
