PROOF: EU is funding anti-Israel organizations, violating international law

Igal HechtIsrael Correspondent

Israel and the EU established diplomatic relations in 1959. recently sat down with the Ambassador of the EU to Israel,  Lars Faaborg-Andersen, to discuss this complicated relationship.

Because Israel is a democracy, the EU is far more critical of them than of other Middle Eastern countries.

This double standard extends to EU NGOs pushing anti-Israel "Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions" campaigns, even though the Ambassador insists that the EU is against BDS.

According to Israeli officials, the EU is acting illegally (and violating its own signed agreements) by funding unauthorized Palestinian buildings in areas placed under Israel control by international law, including the West Bank.
Investigative journalist Ben-Dror Yemini says "Israel should tell the EU, 'enough.'"

He says that the EU's official statements about Israel often contradict their real world actions.

Igal Hecht presents a number of examples of this.

Why is it bigoted?
It singles out only one side, Israel, in the conflict.
The Arabs have been offered a State, in 1948, in 2000, in 2005, in 2006, and again last year.
So far, the Jews have said YES YES YES YES YES, and the Arabs have said NO NO NO NO NO, and BDS wants to boycott the Jews, for what?
Saying YES.
BDS is nothing more than anti-Semitism in it’s most disgusting form.
Just saying

When will people wake up and realize that the EU was destined for corruption and failure from the outset.

A two-state solution is the only viable way out – and to make that happen in the virulently anti-Israeli Middle East requires a guarantee of Israel’s existence. That is readily achievable. The U.S.can declare that a military attack on Israel is an attack on the U.S. itself. Then the U.S. can then invoke Article 5 of the NATO treaty that obligates all members to take action. That will forestall all serious military action against Israel. BDS may even be interpreted as an attack on Israel, albeit an economic one that could threaten Israel

Next door to Sweden, Norway recently expelled almost a thousand Muslim immigrants for serious crimes, and behold! The violent crime rate dropped by 30% in Norway. Amazing but true.

Europe still suffers from a paralyzing multiculturalist hangover. It is awash in the mind-fog of PC, although here and there signs of sanity are gradually showing up like wildflowers after winter. The biggest trouble is that today’s political class rose to power on the multicultural reign of intimidation. “Racist” scapegoats were viciously smeared by politicians, the media, and the schools, enforced by eager volunteers – just like the PC commissars you and I have met in our own lives, the willing enforcers of politically correct lies.

A parliamentary party leader in Stockholm just proposed that Sweden’s Jews (who have lived there for centuries) should either renounce their religion or leave Sweden. After the predictable public uproar, he clarified his comments by saying everybody should take on a specifically Swedish identity and leave his or her old one behind.
The city of Malmö, with a Muslim majority, is now the violent rape capital of Sweden. Socialist politicians are directly responsible for the suicidal mass immigration policy in Europe, where 44 million Muslims now live. Some of them seem to be assimilating to their host culture. Many are not. But the political elite everywhere in Europe can’t admit to their suicidal immigration policy mistake. Which makes it impossible for Europe to fix their self-inflicted death sentence.

Since 2000, 7,650 anti-Semitic incidents have been reliably reported to the Jewish Community Security Service and the French ministry of the interior; this figure omits incidents known to have occurred but unreported to the police. The incidents range from hate speech, anti-Semitic graffiti, and verbal threats to defacement of synagogues and other Jewish buildings, to acts of violence and terror including arson, bombings, and murder.
And that’s just France . . . .
In Sweden, the mooslim hordes have run the Jews out of Malmo . . .
“Sweden, to a much larger extent than other countries, allows hate preachers to enter the country and give lectures to spread their message. Sweden should deal with this.” — Haras Rafiq, President of the Quilliam Foundation.
Every year, about 60,000 Swedish passports are reported stolen or lost. Police estimated last year that about 180,000 Swedish passports are touring the world. There are people who have “lost” up to 20 passports, yet have no problems acquiring new ones. One cannot but wonder why people should be allowed to have three passports issued over a five-year period.
Stockholm’s politicians want to “include” homecoming jihadis into Sweden’s “infidel” society by giving them health care, jobs, welfare benefits and housing.
Despite Foreign Minister Margot Wallström’s promises, when Sweden officially recognized the state of Palestine, assuring everyone that this move would give Sweden more leverage to make demands on the Palestinians, Sweden continues to send money their way with no strings attached.
Security Service officials claim they “pretty much” know the identities of the approximately 300 individuals who have traveled to Syria and Iraq over the last 2.5 years, including the 35-40 who were killed and the more than 100 who have returned to Sweden — some of whom have been instructed to carry out terrorist acts in Sweden and other countries.

Alex – the EU is wrong, and they will pay a price for attacking God’s people, and it won’t be pretty.

Unfortunately, anti-semitism is on the rise in many forms all over the world. It is uphauling that there are countries that believe that Israel does not have the right to exist in our age. The Jewish people have suffered and endured atrocities beyond imagination. What the EU is doing is wrong.

Shocking? I think not! EU is a band of thugs. They are getting what they deserve as Muslims take over. The UN is under their control along with many Arab states.
Area C is under total Israeli control as agreed to under Oslos.
Turkey is getting a taste of Islam aswell. Looks good on them.

justified trudeau and angry tom would both be supportive of the EU as they believe a proxy for the UN should begiven to make all their decisions on international affairs.

What is the end game ? These organizations that are anti Israel what do they hope for if there wasn’t a Jewish state. Do these people think that if Israel no longer existed that there would be world peace? Obama cooling relations with Israel for what? World peace? I really don’t understand what is the ultimate end game.

Interesting piece. I hope Igal is right that the EU is beginning to come around to appreciating Israel’s view of things. The current situation is, indeed, a tragedy.

Are we truly surprised? Anti-semitism is still alive and well, in the EU as well as the UN. Unfortunately, many of Israel’s former “allies” are now turning against her as well. But Israel has been here before. She will survive, to nearly everybody’s consternation…

Nazism alive and well in Europe. The Fourth Reich cometh. If Islam doesn’t get there first!
