On Wednesday night, we held an amazing citizens’ rally against M-103, the Parliamentary motion that calls on the government to ban Islamophobia (But doesn't define what it is.)
More than 1,000 people came out to our rally on two days notice. Great mix of people — especially people who know what living under sharia law is like, such as these people who fled from Islamic fascism in Iran and Pakistan. Their comments are fascinating.
But the Media Party hated it!
They showed up to “report” on it, and just at the rally was about to end, one of the leftist reporters from Vice tweeted:
"I just saw someone do a Nazi salute."
Really? I mean, I’m Jewish, there were a ton of Jews there, and visible minorities, so it’s really weird that there would be Nazis there. No-one else saw them.
But then, they posted a grainy photo on Twitter. Looks like a hand held straight up. Which isn’t how the Nazi salute looks.
But the Washington, D.C. correspondent of Buzzfeed said it was proof that we were Nazis. So did the sports editor at The Score, and Jesse Brown, who regards himself as a media critic, who said, "Seems like cameras did catch your boy with a Sieg Heil."
Except, I’ll show you another picture, taken of that exact same moment, that wasn’t so strategically blurry.
The salute is kind of weird. What’s with the three finger thing?
The Vice blogger said it was Aryan. (That means white.)
But the guy doing it is Chinese. I remember him: he was actually wearing a kilt!
Then I found out:
This salute is from the popular sci-fi movie The Hunger Games. It’s the symbol of resistance to a big, thought control government. (Like the kind of government that would tell you what you can and can’t think...)
I pointed this out online, and challenged these reporters.
But every single left-wing journalist who wrote about this still has their lies up on the Internet.
