The US hasn’t had a ‘nice guy’ president who has been effective. Who cares if he is an a hole. I tend to agree with Ben Carson in his recent supporting of Trump when he suggested that with the right people around him Trump could get the job done. The alternative is Cruz, who is talking to Rubio about joining up. Whether or not that will fly will be up to the American people. Who has the best chance of beating the Democrats? That’s all I care about at this point.

I loathe these protesters as much as I loathe Trump. I’m not going to cancel my subscription to the Rebel just because Ezra backs Trump, (we don’t have to agree on everything, in fact, much better that we don’t) but in Trump see no principle whatsoever. Nothing but ego. Here’s what Jonah Goldberg says about the Donald:

“- Trump boasted that his ordeal of avoiding the clap while sleeping around so much amounted to his own “personal Vietnam.”

- He said that John McCain’s ordeal avoiding dying at the hands of his torturers wasn’t heroic.

- As for everyone else’s Vietnam, Trump got out of that by claiming to have a medical condition that instantly healed when hostilities ended.

- He bragged — in print! — about bedding married women and has admitted to cheating on at least two of his wives.

- He boasted that he “whines until I win.”

- He’s condemned Charles Krauthammer, George Will, and many other friends of Bill’s [Bennett] (including yours truly) with far, far more vitriol than he condemns Vladimir Putin, the butchers of Tiananmen, and David Duke.

-The man is so lacking in moral clarity that he dismissed Vladimir Putin’s murdering of journalists by saying, “I think our country does plenty of killing also.”

- This is a man who expresses a passionate desire to change the First Amendment so he can punish journalists who don’t kowtow to him.

- This is a man who praised the mass murder at Tiananmen and criticized Gorbachev for not being as tough-minded.

- This is a man who says he “reads the Bible more than anybody” but can’t — after months of opportunities — speak intelligently about it for 30 seconds.

- This is a man who, by any objective measure, lies nearly as much as Bill Clinton but with a tenth of the skill.

- He lacks the patriotic seriousness to do minimal homework, even when his ignorance has been pointed out time and again. (Bill’s colleague Hugh Hewitt asked Trump about the nuclear triad in August. Several months later, when the question came up again Trump was, if anything, more ignorant.)

- This is a man whose business dealings have been shot through with shady practices, mob ties, and fraudulent claims (also known as “lies”).

- This is a man with a totally thumbless grasp of what the Constitution is about or what conservatism is (“Conservatism means,” according to Trump, “to conserve our money”).

- This is a man who boasted for months that he will torture our enemies and indiscriminately murder their children as a matter of policy.

- This is a man who says that the last Republican president deliberately lied us into war and plays coy about whether 9/11 was an inside job."

I cannot support such a man.

It has been long known that the GOP and the Democrats establishments are one in the same. Both favour big government, creeping socialism, growing executive power, the submission of Congress, reduction of Constitutional powers in favour of the POTUS, an activist liberal SCOTUS, suspension of the Articles of the Bill of Rights, alliances with Islamists, etc. Rubio, Kasich, Clinton, and Sanders are, to varying degrees, interchangeable. Cruz is a Constitutionalist, but he also seeks favour with the GOP establishment. Trump is the only one who is breaking the unified agenda and calling out both parties’ establishments.

The end goal is a single-party American state, similar to what once existed in Mexico, where the PRE was the only governing party, with ideological rotation for the presidency. Another example is Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party.

At the state level, the GOP has conservative and RINO entities. The California GOP and Dems are one in the same. So is the New York, Ohio, Michigan etc respective GOP and Dem entities. At the federal level, both parties are moving toward similarity. In the Congress, the H of R GOP is somewhat conservative, but the Senate GOP is quite liberal. In time, the movement toward similarity will be that much more extreme. This is the Cultural War in microcosm. Secessionist movements are strong in the US, and will only get stronger. The Red States have the most determined conservative elements and they are armed to the teeth. War is coming, that is certain.

Dieter, if your comments about the Republicans being in cahoots with the Democrats are any where near true, then where does that leave the Trump campaign? Would he really run solo against the Democrats?
It is obvious that the Republicans are worried. The party is a tried and true expression of the conservative movement in the United States. Who would it benefit if it is destroeyed?

It was interesting to see Bernie Sanders, seemingly, take the credit that it was his supporters who shut the rally down. Even Clinton got in on the act, declaring that this was all Trump’s fault. One wonders who is really instigating the violence at Trump rallies. Of course, Rubio and Cruz piled on, declaring that Sander and Clinton were right in their assertions. Judging by the current polls out of Florida, Trump is on his way to a landslide. And in Illinois and Ohio, Trump is polling even higher numbers than before the incidents happened. What does this say? It says that patriotic Republicans (There are no patriotic Democrats) are backing Trump and defending their right to rally, speak, and associate with their candidate. These incidents – four already over this weekend – are on the level of Democrats bullying the GOP into submission. Considering the limp-wristed pansies that populate the RNC, they will cave in to the DNC’s pressure. Why already Cruz is avoiding campaigning in Florida and Ohio so has to not ruin Rubio’s and Kasich’s chances of home state wins against Trump. This smacks of the stench that the GOP is getting its marching orders from the Democrats.

One wonders who the violent ones really are?

Annonomous, Ranting and raving about his far right politicians: Reagan was an ass! His position on AIDS/HIV killed millions, not just a trivial few.

That bitch of a wife of his did not deserve any media attention when she died. Should have just flushed her ashes down the toilet and forget about her.

Thatcher was a disaster in Britain.

Harper was so far right, that he makes Thatcher and Reagan look sane. The far right believe too much in small governments and the suffering of the poor.

Shutting down free speech isn’t isolated to Trump rallys . It is a concerted and well coordinated effort by left wing extremists to censor anyone that doesn’t agree with their viewpoint. Students that tried to attend an event with Ben Shappiro at Cal State University were blocked and harassed by these thugs. This week a motion was filed to impeach a young conservative Student Senator at USC , Jacob Allenhorn . His offense, being a conservative. And of course we had the incident involving TheRebel’s Lauren Southern where she was sprayed with urine.
So Ben Shappirro , Jacob Allenhorn and Lauren Southern didn’t incite anyone to do anything, yet they were targetted by these anarchists.
Trump isn’t being targetted because of his strong rhetoric. He and his followers are being attacked simply because they have a different set of political and philosophical values.
Against Sharia Law ? You are a hater. Maintaining the definition of marriage? You are a hater. Wanting to bar terrorists from entering your country? You are a hater.
You can think what you want about Trump and his at times bombastic statements. But in terms of the censorship of speech, all of are their next target.

Trump should get some tips from Jean Chretien, “The Shawinigan Strangler”. Bill Clennett can verify that Chretien’s patented UFC move, the “Shawinigan Handshake”, is devastating.

Tom Green G, sorry, I had no idea that was sarcasm. I’ve seen many people actually suggest doing that (disrupting a Sanders rally).

Watching Trump live and he is very energized. Some Muslim charger him on stage and the Secret Service tackled him and slammed him to the ground in Dayton. Thet checked the guy out and he has suspected ties to ISIS.

And I Trump supporters rioted and jumped Sanders supporters d’ya suppose the media would paint them as ethically motivated legitimate protesters.

I love open-minded liberals! They’re so open to people having an opinion different to theirs.

The difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals believe you’re entitled to your opinion as long as it’s the same as theirs. Conservatives on the other hand believe you’re entitled to your opinion even if it’s different from theirs but then you’re an idiot. Which then makes conservatives more liberal than liberals as at least they’re willing to allow you to have a different opinion while liberals are more conservative than conservatives because they don’t allow you t have a different opinion.

One of the organizers of this protest rally was ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism Coalition). This is an extremely activist organization which was formed three days after 9/11. See: This group has organized many marches, etc. protesting numerous US and world involvement in conflicts around the globe. See: to discover for yourself background info on this organization and some of their “history”. This group, as I have stated, was part of this orchestrated attempt to shut down the First Amendment rights of American voters.

I noticed in Saturday’s March 12 Ottawa Sun comment to a letter called “Americans get Trump” stated that “Trump being the symptom of the breakdown of traditional american politics”

If we could comment in the Sun, I would state that Trump is not to blame, but the mainstream conservatives in the media and those advising politicians.

People like the Sun Media want compromising, capitulating, politically correct, easy to get elected conservative politicians and parties who will not be “controversial”, tick off some name/ bigot card playing special interest/entitlement group and consequently lose the vote of the group they claim to represent.

If this was historically the case then here are some of the “controversial” conservative politicians who would never get elected if the modern mainstream conservative media and advisers had their say:

Republican Abraham Lincoln – too controversial in abolishing slavery, would lose the southern vote.

Conservative Winston Churchill – too controversial in war mongering against fascist aggression, would lose the moderate “peace in our time” right of centre Neville Chamberlin conservative and left of centre labour vote.

Conservative Ronald Reagan – too controversial in his anti-communism stance along with focusing on health issues other than AIDS that affected a tiny group of people who did drugs and did not use condoms, would lose the right of centre and left of centre vote.

Conservative Margaret Thatcher – too controversial in her attack on the unions and their lack of representation of people they collect dues from, would lose the right of centre and left of centre vote.

In Canada, we never got such “Controversial” types like this.

Instead, the mainstream conservatives in the media and those advising politician won and twe got Robert Stanfield, Joe Clark, Brian Mulroney and Stephen Harper who abandoned is “controversial” reform party stance and went further left than Clark, and now we have Ontario PC leader Patrick Brown who did an about face and supports failed"carbon trading". and marches in Gay Pride aka gay bashing parades portraying gays as a bunch of exhibitionist freaks so he won’t lose the lose the right of centre and left of centre vote either.

Ever hear of losing your integrity that people want in politicians that all the other the “controversial” politicians had, and Trump appears of have?

Go Trump! These protesters did nothing more than shut down a peaceful rally. This will “fan the flame” and add support for Trump.

Oh wait….it’s OK….he was a left wing protestor.
For a minute there I thought he was a law abiding gun owner.

Chris Cuomo on CNN yesterday stated that the word “Islam” means “peace”. This is wrong! The word “Islam” means “surrender” or “submission”. So far CNN has not corrected the error. CNN is being deliberately misleading.

So the attack of the left wing media on The Donald becomes clear.
Sarah (I never heard of you before) Silverman appeared on Conan dressed as Adolph Hitler.
Her point was to make out that Adolph was insulted to be compared to Trump.
This is so lame.
Is this the best they got?
The Donald should parade all his Jewish friends out and they should all have a group hug.

Yes CTV slanted the report so it looked like Trump supporters were the hooligans. Totally disgusting.
Trump books the convention center, his supporters and those who want to hear him and hooligans attack his supporters. One Black guy jumps up on the stage and is removed.
Trump is the bad guy?
The real fear is that they will repeat this at every rally. There must be consequences for this behaviour. If they want to act like assholes let them stay outside. Trump has a great opportunity to attack Cruz and Rubio for their comments which also blame Trump.

Gotta love CTV. A band of brownshirts break up an opposition gathering, and Trump is the Nazi. Too bad we didn’t have a Trump to tell the media to FO.

Free speech should not be shut down. I’m in favour of it because it shows the nutbars on the right beint idiots.

Great idea. What’s your home address??? I would like to plan a protest in your living room at 200a next week sometime to express myself with my 20 friends – you know, freedom of speech.

You don’t mind, do you??

Tom Green G, that’s the worst idea ever. I get the reason behind wanting to do it to them as well, but all doing it even one time will accomplish is giving the left a line to justify when they do it. Even if “the right” only blocked one rally, for the next 20-30 years the left would excuse blocking every right wing rally by saying “But the right wingers do it too!”.

The Blacks have political power in USA via the Democrats. Blacks see Trump as a threat to that power. His rallies must be stopped and his momentum broken if black power is to remain..

Ninety percent of blacks voters are Democrats. The base support of the Democratic party is Black Americans. The race based Democratic party exacerbates the racial divide in the USA.
