Psst, Justin: Don a sombrero and take your carbon tax preaching to Mexico City

David MenziesMission Specialist

With a population of about 20 million people, approximately 3.6 million vehicles and situated more than 2,200 metres above sea level, Mexico City suffers from dreadful air quality.

In fact, it currently ranks number 36 on a list of the world’s most polluted cities! And that’s an improvement from 1992 when the UN rated it as the most polluted city on the entire plant.

We just returned from Mexico where we were following the migrant caravan, and I couldn’t help but wonder why Justin is so obsessed with the carbon footprint of Canadians.

Canadian cities are pristine by comparison and as a nation, we only contribute 1.6 per cent to global emissions.

Yet, our Prime Minister thinks Canadians should be paying a carbon tax?

I think it’s time for Justin to don a Three Amigos costume and head to Mexico to preach his carbon tax message over there and leave Canadians alone!

It’s about the money, not the environment. Man made global cooling/warming/climate change is nothing more than a wealth redistribution scam & a power grab.
