PURE CLASS: Trump tweets video of Jamaica's Usain Bolt stopping interview to stand for American anthem

StaffRebel Columnist

Donald Trump scored some points in his ongoing feud with those who kneel during the national anthem yesterday by tweeting a video from the 2012 Olympics. In it, Jamaica's Usain Bolt stopped doing an interview to respect the Star Spangled Banner.

“Even Usain Bolt from Jamaica, one of the greatest runners and athletes of all time, showed RESPECT for our National Anthem!” he tweeted, including emojis of the US and Jamaican flags.

It was definitely a classy move by the athlete. What do you think? Should NFL players stand?

What exactly is the remedy that those who"take the knee" are demanding? I do not get their point.

Respect is a 2 way street, Bolt understands that.

Bolt is the most stand-up guy you will find anywhere.

Talented, honourable, and, yes, rich; but he knows he needs to give back.

NFL players the most entitled, spoiled brats you can imagine. They are perfect liberals.

These Guys are not standing up because it pays well to kneel when Clinton pulls the strings.

Good for that young man… It is active patriotism was a few years ago and if he was challenged today would he react the same way.. One could only hope that he would and common sense and loyalty and patriotism would win the day.!!
