Watch all of The Rebel's reports from Quebec City after the attack

Faith GoldyArchive

UPDATED: On January 29, 2017, an armed gunman burst into a mosque in Quebec City, killing 6 and wounding 19 more.

It was a horrendous attack that must be condemned. And immediately it was.

But the early reports were confusing. One eyewitness at the mosque said there were more than one gunman. Another said there was a shout of "Allah Akbar".

And that night, police took into custody two men -- Alexandre Bissonnette, and Mohamed Khadir, a Muslim man.

The next morning, police released Khadir, saying he was no longer a suspect, but rather a witness. And they laid charges against Bissonnette, for murder.

What's going on here? What are the facts? And can we trust the mainstream media to tell us the truth about such a controversial and sensitive subject?

We don’t know all the facts yet. But unlike the CBC, we intend to uncover the truth, not bury it.

So The Rebel sent Faith Goldy to Quebec City with a cameraman to report on the facts wherever they lead.

You can watch all of Faith's reports from Quebec City, which will be posted below.

This has the ear marks of a government false flag. Official statement contradicts the witnesses. A lone suspect who perfectly fits the dangerous “alt-right” narrative. Global News dismissing “wild conspiracy theories”. This sounds like the Batman shooter James Holmes. Let’s see if the suspect has connections to government agencies or psychologists. Regardless of who the perpetrator was this was an attack on all Canadian’s religious liberty.

David Ross – You’re right but it’s a genetic thing with Prog Bolshies, they think in terms of “groups” it’s all about assigning group identities so they must assign guilt guilt/blame to a group for lone nut crimes.

if this guy operated alone there is a greater chance that this was a hate crime. just watch the lame left stream media try to call it christian extremist terrorism. i know the are salivating to do just that.
commented 2017-01-31 00:50:38 -0500
interesting how that right out of the gate the police and left stream media are calling this a terror attack when the suspect is not muslim and before all evidence has been examined etc. whereas in past situations it takes the left steam media days if not weeks to finally call it islamic extremist terrorism even long after the suspect has declared openly he or she did it in the name of allah.

NDP Sucks: You make light of a serious situation. A young Quebec man went into a mosque and shot six men dead and seriously injured several others.

That means several families devastated by personal loss.

The young man was of Christian background and the victims were all Muslim men.

Perhaps you might say a prayer for the victims and also think about a more just society.

I see Jay Kelly has another day/night pass from the asylum. Good stuff. Hey Jay, my original offer is still valid. I will pay for a return flight, hotel, meals, incidentals to LA to get a full diagnostic examination by Dr Phil. The sole condition is that you must abide by his decision. What do you have to lose Jay except maybe your mental retardation.

Below is a CBC video of a witness claiming 2 shooters.

Nnaumbua Farrell:
I read the first article you posted. I came away with the impression that this was the very same situation as the Paris and Florida attacks. This guy was probably inspired by those terrorist attacks because he basically did everything the killers did in these two attacks. He would seek revenge by replicating what was done by the Islamic terrorists.

Nnaumbua Farrell – AKs have been banned for 2 decades – Witnesses also said there were 2 shooters and one said “Allahu Akbar” as well – Lots of BS and political posing going on in the absence of facts.

The first person arrested on Sunday night was a member of the congregation and had been at prayer. He spoke with CBC news without being identified. During the shooting he left the Mosque. When the gunfire subsided he went back in and he took off his coat to put on a wounded man to keep him warm.

Then he saw another figure enter the Mosque with a gun and he ran out and around the side of the building to escape. Later he realized the other figure was a police officer. He was arrested because he seemed to be fleeing a police officer.

It was obvious he had not participated in a crime. His name was published by some outlets, including the CBC.

The second person arrested was Alexandre Bissonnette who telephoned the police after he had driven some 20 km away. He basically asked them to come and arrest him, that he had weapons but wanted to turn himself in.

God rest their souls, but Trudeau is in his glory something like this has happened. Just what he needed to fight Trump and anyone else who opposes him. We will never, never, never hear the end of this from the master manipulator. I don’t mean the unnecessary deaths of these poor people, I mean how wonderful Justin Trudeau was in this crisis and how right he is.
May perpetual light shine upon them and may God have mercy on Trudeau’s devious soul.

Some questions: What happened to the second shooter? A witness named Abdi told Reuters he saw two shooters:

Reuters actually reported a witness saying that there were up to three shooters:

What type of firearms were seized from Bissonnette? Was he really carrying an AK-47? They’re prohibited in Canada (so very hard but not impossible to legally possess). However, he was charged with first degree murder and attempted murder with a restricted firearm. If he used an actual AK those would be charges with a prohibited firearm unless he for some reason had the AK but used another gun to do the shooting.

Jay Kelly; All of them.

Jay Kelly – Your coming close to killing me with your pathetic virtue posing. You are no one’s moral superior, and certainly too gutless to do what is right.

Bill Elder wishes Canada: “still had the death penalty so I could pull the switch on this little psycho killer.”

Canada’s mass shooters basically follow the pattern of Alexandre Bissonnette. “Young male, Christian background, normal except a bit withdrawn, disproportionately French Canadian.”

How many would you be willing to kill to make a safer world?

Liza Rosie – To recap: preying Muslims murdered at a mosque is “terrorism” but two Canadian soldiers similarly murdered for wearing the uniform by ISIS- sympathetic Islamists… well, that’s a non-event according to our Trust fund PM

And for what it’s worth, I wish Canada still had the death penalty so I could pull the switch myself on this little psycho killer as well as those Jihadis.

So as a snowmobiler in southern Ontario , I’m really jealous of the snow up in Quebec judging from the pics.. trails must be awesome!

Patti thanks for that link. I’m bookmarking. Will no doubt come in handy.

Good question Bill. Bloody offensive refusal to call it what it was.
commented 2017-01-30 22:51:15 -0500
I hope Faith asks Trudeau why he immediately called this a terror act after the suspect’s picture was published yet even a year later he refused to call the Jihadi lone wolf attack on Parliament Hill and Corporal Cerillo a terrorist act – why is that?

Jay Kelly can you pull your head out of your butt long enough to answer that for him, you seem so good at putting words in other people’s mouths maybe answer that for PM Dhimmi would you?

Was Faith Goldy’s entire report just three-and-a-half minutes? She asked questions other media did not ask, but did not even find out one smidgen of information.

Perhaps she should have stayed home and looked up the definitions of “parameter” and “perimeter”.

This has elements of the Lone self-radicalized ISIL bomber in Strathroy Ont. this summer. Another Doogie Howser type, self radicalized

- This Quebec snowflake berzerker appears to have been on some self-dramatized counter-Jihad wet op. I still say we have to find out if this kid was under police surviellence or on prescription Psychotropics or psyche treatment , if so it it bears a lot of tell signs of a typical school/campus shooter profile where a “Doogie Howser” goes psycho killer in a paranoid psychotic episode brought on by long term use of SRUI meds.

A lot of working class people died in that rampage – these victims deserve the truth of the matter, Not the Wild political axe-grinding going on in the Fake news cartels.

Angie said, “There was only one person who did this, Alexandre Bissonnette. Rebel media, trying to turn Canada into Trump’s United States of America.”

Angie, take your bullshit lying rhetoric and forcibly insert it where the “sun don’t shine”.

The Rebel is not trying to do any such thing. All they want is the truth and the CBC and the rest of the main stream media are liar by not revealing the whole truth.

Political gain? I would agree, as I mentioned this as a cordial debate in another news article concerning this event and the leftists were all over me like a swarm of disgruntled bees who just had their nest smacked.

After what I read about this case, nothing adds up. Trudeau will make sure that the narrative will be in favour of Muslims. So far it’s all a lie. I dont know if we will ever know the true story. I know that Mohamed Kadhir (he actually uses 3 names, hard to know which one is the correct one) is known in Quebec as a troublemaker, he is a Muslim, I read somewhere that he is a Taliban (dont know if he is). He is the one who conducted the whole thing I am sure and influenced Bissonnette. It’s all obvious. Mohamed is a witness like Karla Homolka. That’s what it is. And this is definitely NOT AN ACT OF TERRORISM, not if Bissonette is accused on his own.
commented 2017-01-30 21:49:30 -0500
Patti, go to the Post they have a pretty good account of the events as sketchy as they are – the “witness” is a real head scratcher – apparently he phoned 911 as a witness the next day and parked his car 5 blocks from the mosque then walked to meet police outside, he was armed so he was arrested the released 12 hrs later – weird.
commented 2017-01-30 21:43:04 -0500
Nancy Paul; that is what I thought too as in Doogie Howser. I mean somebody couldn’t have given this guy a swift kick upside the head? As a woman I could kick Doogie’s ass, let alone a room full of men!

I gleaned what I could from this kid’s SM footprint – seemed a normal college kid, taking poli-sci, no police record, friend/ neighbors say he was shy and no trouble, kept to himself, withdrawn and not a lot of friends, victim of bullying – fits the pattern of so many other lone nutter shooters – living in his own dream-scape, isolated/anti-social, only one thing missing – SRUI psychotropic meds prescription.

Will watch closely as this one develops, the real story will be in the grief-mongers exploiting the incident for their respective axe grinding – which in itself is contempt to the victims and their suffering familes – wonder if these folks realie the best they can hope for id that this guy won’t see daylight for maybe, say 15 years with a parol for good behavior – that’s a hell of way to learn th sad fact of Canada’s toothless “progressive” justice system.
