Yesterday I told you that TransCanada Pipelines abandoned their proposed oil terminal port facility in Qcacouna, Quebec because environmental extremists say it would be devastating to beluga whales.
In response, the premier of Quebec, a liberal named Phillipe Couillard, is hinting he might try to kill the entire pipeline if Quebec doesn’t get that port.
But last December, the same premier demanded that TransCanada not build the port, saying how much he cares about those belugas!
How about we cancel the transfer payments pipeline, that shovels billions from B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan to Quebec?
