Rebel Roundup: Guests Ben Davies, Sheila Gunn Reid, & Ezra Levant!

David MenziesMission Specialist

Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen – and the rest of you – in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.

* Attention Loblaws shoppers! There’s an appliance special on right now, in which 12 million of your tax dollars are enabling this multi-billion-dollar conglomerate to purchase new fridges and freezers!

Sheila Gunn Reid has all the stone-cold details.

* Quebec’s anti-burqa law, Bill 21, is being deemed “racist” and “Islamaphobic” by the usual suspects... even though it’s really all about separating mosque from state.

Rebel Commander Ezra Levant joins us to explain all.

* So, after that disastrous Me-Too themed Gillette ad campaign earlier this year, do you think parent company Procter & Gamble learned any advertising lessons? Well, judging by a Tweet for its Venus brand of female razors, the answer is a firm NO.

Ben Davies has the skinny on P&G’s latest virtue-signalling marketing flop.

* And finally letters. I’ll share some of your responses regarding Justin Trudeau’s $1,600-a-plate fundraiser in Toronto last week. Two things: apparently there are still Liberal supporters who adore this guy. Oh, and judging by his motorcade of SUVs that kept their V8 engines running for hours, it would seem that when it comes to reducing our carbon footprint, Justin subscribes to the mantra of do as I say, not as I do.

Hey Menzoid,

Order your razors on Amazon, you can probably get 100 sets of compatible blades for $20 from another vendor.

I prefer the twin blade and got 100 of the non Gillette version for $18 including shipping =)

- The Liberals are saving the world, one corporate handout at a time. After all, if we don’t provide freezers to multi-billionaires they world will be doomed in 11 1/2 years.

- Quebec’s “anti-burka” law needs to go further & needs to go nation wide.

- Gillette has decided that their customers need them more that they need their customers. Their preferred base seems to be heavy set women & soy boys.

Ban the Burqa period, it is just a mask forced on women because their husbands do not trust other husbands. The real intention of wearing a Burqa is just to send out a message to Canadians stating ‘Look we are here and we are going to stay’, we are different but soon we will be a majority and we will rule you.
There is no law in the Quaran that states that a woman has to cover her hair or her face. (Robert Spencer.) Quebec’s law is correct.

I think the Precious One got flustered when all those women turned their backs on him. Let’s all hope, pray, and strive to make the fopdoodle a one-term prime minister.
