Rebel Roundup: Guests Sheila Gunn Reid, Ben Davies & Keean Bexte!

David MenziesMission Specialist

Every Friday evening on Rebel Roundup, we get together with other Rebel contributors to review the week's headlines, from the serious to the absurd.

Settle in and enjoy!

* It looks like Justin Trudeau is building himself quite the swank summer house, including a treehouse with its own zip line, and maybe even a helicopter landing pad! And guess what, folks? YOU are funding this extravagance.

Sheila Gunn Reid joins us to explain.

* A new Abacus poll indicates that only 25 per cent of Albertans approve of the Justin Trudeau Liberals whereas a whopping 57 per cent disapprove. Yet some media outlets are claiming those who disapprove of Justin are motivated by racism, misogyny and homophobia. What the hell?

Keean Bexte drops by to make sense if it all.

* Network TV coverage of New Year’s Eve devolved into a truly vulgar affair rife with talking heads still afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Oh, Dick Clark, how we miss you!

Ben Davies drops by to explain how bad it was!

* And finally letters. I’ll share some of your feedback on my commentary about a progressive Toronto neighbourhood that is aghast at the prospect of a daycare operation setting up. Yep, suddenly the same people who condemn NIBYY-ism, are subscribing to it.

Regarding Sheila:
All that taxpayer money, for an ‘organic’ garden!
I live in the Chilcotin, central interior, BC. Where I live it’s glacial moraine – boulders, rocks, gravel and sand – no real topsoil, short growing season, above the 52 parallel, 1200 meters elevation and semi arid…
Raised beds for soil, and fencing are a must – range, cows, deer, moose, wild horses and the occasional dog.
I cut local lodgepole pines for the raised beds and the fence poles, I scrounged fencing staples, spikes, some fencing material and I found a gate and hung it. I got horse manure-turned black loamy soil from the neighbour, and did all the work myself.
This very productive, ‘organic’ garden cost me all of about NOTHING, except my time and effort…

Time to bury that thieving POS Jihadi-Justin-Groper in his taxpayer funded organic garden – of course it wouldn’t be ‘organic’ then, it’d be as toxic as the ‘tar sands’…and just as productive under the Canada-hating Jihadi-Justin-Groper and his Liberal clown-show!
Regarding Keean:
See comment above about burying Jihadi-Justin-Groper…
Regarding Ben:
The left has morphed into this herd of really creepy, morally bankrupt, depraved freaks and intellectually challenged degenerate zombies…in a really scary and gross kind of way!
Get rid of the plague the left have proven themselves to be, and most of the West’s problems go away!

- There’s no limit to the price taxpayers will have to pay in order to please the little prince as he plays Prime Minister. Bee keeping, tree house, swing set – think of all the costume changes.

- It seems the media party is more interested in getting taxpayer handouts than in serving their customers. It won’t take long for most of the smaller outlets to disappear as the rest are centralized under government control.

- Hollywood leftists are simply showing their character – their lack of character that is. These are weak, unstable, damaged people.

I think we should all line up outside the PM cottage and wait to get in to enjoy a weekend at our summer retreat.
He’s so sure he’ll be there for a long long time.

CNN needs to be reminded of this over and over and over again.
I guess sour Lemon’s new boyfriend wouldn’t let him go play like he did last year.

Good show, as always.

A Nursery in the neighborhood causes diversity. What do these people think about the followers of Islam in there backyard. A gift from God? I know what I would prefer.
