Rebel Roundup: Guests Ezra Levant, Keean Bexte, & Sheila Gunn Reid

David MenziesMission Specialist

Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen – and the rest of you – in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.

* Gerald Butts tried valiantly to, well, cover his butt the other day regarding Lav-Scam. Did he succeed?

Ezra Levant joins us with his analysis.

* Some high-profile UK and Canadian politicians recently proclaimed their love for a free press. Just one caveat: apparently, the media has to follow an appropriate narrative in order to earn their love.

Sheila Gunn Reid has all the details.

* Jason Kenny thinks that the importation of Somalis to Brooks, Alberta has been a resounding success story that needs to be duplicated in other Alberta jurisdictions.

Keean Bexte recently travelled to Brooks to interview residents and just wait until you hear what some of them had to say…

* And finally letters. I’ll share some of your responses to my commentary regarding the federal government’s refusal to say how much they’re spending on accommodating refugees at two Toronto hotels. Um, whatever happened to the Trudeau Liberals’ promise to be transparent?

“Watching Kenney and listening to his song and dance, tells me that Kenney is a dyed in the wool globalist.”

All rejected politicians end up doing a similar song and dance that leads eventually into another country to earn monies, given enough time we’ll be reading about Kenny doing the same.

Jason Kenney has revealed his true colours and deserves the slap down he’s about to receive from real conservatives! Alberta certainly doesn’t need anymore faux refugees, and we certainly don’t need foreign labourers when our province is on life support. Watching Kenney and listening to his song and dance, tells me that Kenney is a dyed in the wool globalist. He’s part of the scam and thinks nobody is watching or listening to him. He’s the wolf in sheeps clothing, and he needs to exposed as such to those who have been blind to his actions.

PAUL MCCULLOUGH commented 11 hours ago.
- Press freedom is disappearing in the West……….

I agree with you Paul, trouble is the whole West and what it used to represent is disappearing and Trudeau is getting paid to help it on it’s way. We need to find out who, exactly, is paying ‘him’.

- The biggest danger that the Liberals are facing over this with their base is that they picked Jody Wilson-Raybould in order to check as many boxes on the virtue signalling check list as possible. So a couple white guys fired their token native woman because she was actually competent & appointed a white male to take her place because he was a good ol’ boy who is as corrupt as they are. Not the thing to get the base out to vote.

- Press freedom is disappearing in the West. That’s why I support what little is left.

- Keean has been a great addition to The Rebel team.

I don’t see much hope for change here in Canada. Liberals keep lying and spinning their scandals while conservatives are running for cover when asked about anything substantive. Our tax money is treated like a lottery win. When we ask where it went, records magically disappear. Even if Trudeau loses the next election, we still won’t have much in the way of a hopeful future.
