REBEL BUZZ: CNN ignores NYC ISIS attack, patriotism triggers Sarah Silverman, & illegal immigration plummets

Kristin TateRebel Buzz Contributor

* On Monday, an ISIS-inspired terrorist attempted to set off a bomb in the middle of New York City. In the aftermath of the terrifying event, CNN decided to dedicate airtime to President Trump's television habits and love of Diet Coke.

Just when you thought CNN couldn’t get any worse, they surprise all of us!

The decision to air the Diet Coke segment, during the aftermath of an attempted TERROR ATTACK, speaks volumes about CNN’s agenda. To think that a major “news” network would neglect to cover a major event like this would be hilarious if it weren’t so troublesome. If Ullah’s plans had been executed successfully, countless people could have ended up dead.

* For the latest Hollywood insanity… In the newest episode of Sarah Silverman's Hulu show, the leftwing comedian said she felt “scared” and “shaken” when a former boyfriend put up an American Flag in his front yard

I guess patriotism is too much for this snowflake to handle.

Silverman said that, at first, she wasn’t sure why she felt upset by the flag. But then she realized it’s because she’s Jewish. And seeing patriotism, which includes raising the flag, scares her because it reminds her of Nazis.

Put simply, Silverman is equating patriotism to nationalism, and nationalism to Nazi fascism.

*A new report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection suggest that Trump's hardline immigration policies and rhetoric may be having a real impact.

During President Trump's first year in office, illegal immigrant apprehensions at the U.S.-Mexico border have dropped by 24%.

The fiscal year 2017 marked the lowest level of illegal cross-border migration on record. According to CBP, this reflects the new Administration’s commitment to enforcing the rule of law.

Ms Silverman WAS right to be afraid, but the flagpole that she shouldn’t have been near was a bit closer to the boyfriend than the one in his front yard – the real reason why she felt scared is that she was living in sin. If I do not love you enough to marry you, then you have no respect from me and shouldn’t be in my bed. Sex is sacred, and if you are Jewish then you have the advantage of being able to read the Song of Solomon in your own tongue – wisdom exists for a reason, and this generation is so lost that they are surprised when reality sets in…

- CNN is only interested in fake news & downed airliners. I feel sorry for the dozen or so people that still take it seriously.

- Sarah Silverman continues her march from comedian to washed up hack. The left wants to associate nationalism with Nazis because they want to place Nazis on the right side of the political spectrum. The Nazis were big government leftists.

- Just think, all it took was a president that was willing to stand up for Americans. The question now is if the Democrats can come up with enough dead voters to replace the illegal alien voters they’re losing.

Dr. Fauxpaus, in the future you will see Trump in a different light. He may be an arrogant arsehole but his policies will help all Americans. He is possibly the savior of the free world from the globalist left wing lying crooked racist bigoted aholes like Obama and Hillary. As for climate change, it may be changing but the scam is just a wealth transfer that makes the globalists richer. There is nothing we can do anyways unless you can unleash a plaque to get rid of a few billion people. Keep in mind the population will be going up to 9 billion and those people don’t want to live in mud huts and eat their own feces.

A note about the word ‘nationalism’, and it’s ‘evolving’ meaning.
This is what appears on the internet, from Wikipedia:
– na·tion·al·ism
ˈnaSH(ə)nəˌlizəm/
noun
patriotic feeling, principles, or efforts.
synonyms: patriotism, patriotic sentiment, flag-waving, xenophobia, chauvinism, jingoism
“their extreme nationalism was frightening”
-an extreme form of this, especially marked by a feeling of superiority over other countries.
plural noun: nationalisms
-advocacy of political independence for a particular country.
……
This is what is in my pre-internet dictionary: (The Houghton Mifflin Canadian Dictionary of the English Language, 1980)
– na.tion.al.ism
n.
1. Devotion to the interests of a particular nation. 2. The belief that nations would benefit from acting independently rather than collectively, emphasizing national rather than international goals. 3. In countries under foreign political or economic domination, aspirations for national independence.

If that isn’t Newspeak happening right there I don’t know what is!

I have contributed money to Rebel for such things as a brick with my name on it for Mr. Levant’s office (I just wanted to show my support to the folks once associated with Sun TV). I am a premium subscriber, and while I agree with everything said re antifa and BLM and Trudeau’s immigration and refugee policies, I take extreme exception to the support of the sexual molester in chief, or “f***ing moron” as termed by his Secretary of State. Kindly cut back on the unfettered support of someone who has made the US the laughing stock of the world. His climate change denial and support for archaic energy technology is upsetting, as are his anti – science views – just for starters.

I Live half time in the US and half time in Canada and am about as far right wing and Conservative (big C small c) as one can get, but enough is enough with this Trump worship – being conservative does NOT mean supporting someone rapidly losing touch with the world at large.

Kristen, I don’t think there was anyone at the CNN studio that morning to report the breaking news of a failed terrorist attack in NYC…. the diet coke and tv watching drivel was taped another time and aired Monday…

Something tells me Sarah Silverman wouldn’t have a problem with her phantom boyfriend hoisting the Communist flag in the front yard!
