I’m excited to announce that I’m now a full time Rebel based in Vancouver. I’m truly thankful to those of you who have seen and shared my work so far and for those who haven’t yet, I want to tell you a bit about myself.
I’ve lived in Vancouver, BC my entire life. I love my city, my province and my country and want to see us thrive as the greatest place on earth, but I’m concerned about the forces opposing conservatism and common sense.
What first inspired me to take a public stand was the debate around resources, in particular the oil sands and the proposed pipelines we need to get our product to market. I was shocked by the hypocritical nature of those who showed up to protest the industry. It didn't take me long to realize BC’s protest movement was highly organized and funded by big donors. I hope to continue to bring coverage of this issue as the debate about pipelines and LNG rages on.
Before joining the Rebel, I ran a family business and before that, I studied business which is why I’m so passionate about defending small businesses against government overreach and why I’m concerned about losing out due to the expanded social engineering we see from institutions like Vancouver City Hall.
This fight against what is now the status quo, is the reason I consider myself a Rebel. I don't think there are too many members of the Media Party with my background so I want to bring a different perspective to Canadians.
I also want to hear from you, our viewers, especially if you live in the Lower Mainland or BC. Let me know what stories are being ignored or deserve more attention. Perhaps you’ve got a tip that other media have been ignoring? Feel free to drop me a line or a tip anytime at Christopher@theRebel.Media.
With the help of the rest of the Rebel team, I’ll continue to give you the kind of content that makes us so unique and valuable in Canadian media.
