Rebel Roundup: Guests Sheila Gunn Reid, John Cardillo, & Ezra Levant!

David MenziesMission Specialist

Every Friday evening on Rebel Roundup, we get together with other Rebel contributors to review the week's headlines, from the serious to the absurd.

Settle in and enjoy!

* Maxime Bernier recently spoke frankly about multiculturalism in Canada and was predictably, branded a bigot by the usual suspects.

Ezra Levant explains why Bernier was expressing an opinion that is likely endorsed by most Canadians – including immigrants.

* Have you ever wondered how many of those Syrian refugees flooding into Canada are actually legit?

Sheila Gunn Reid did some digging and found the number of potentially bogus claimants is gulp-inducing.

* And, a group of Islamist extremists planning acts of terrorism was uncovered in New Mexico, but the wannabe jihadis walked out of court without posting any bail.

John Cardillo drops in to explain how political correctness is once again trumping public safety.

* And finally, letters. Tonight, I’ll share some of your feedback regarding my commentary on Wilfrid Laurier University’s president proposing a new and improved alternative to free speech she calls, “better speech.” I call it bogus speech.

Wow, Sheila is saying that comprehensive background checks were done on those from the Sudan and other parts of the world? So we see what that was worth. If that is the case they need to tighten and strengthen those checks, because when you look at the rap sheets in Toronto crime reports, there seems to be quite a problem from these places.
Canada is insane to have done what they have done, and had no right.

Not only is allowing ‘refugees’ to go back and forth between Canada and Syria, and that its counter the the rules Canada has long accepted for refugee criteria, but it puts Canadians at more of a risk than bringing in these ‘refugees’ in the first place. There may have been Syrians we would have wanted to allow in (the secular ones), but not this batch of mostly hard core fundamentalists. Allowing them passage back and forth is just asking for trouble. It looks like trouble is what we’re getting thanks to Justin. As far as many others from Pakistan, Somolia, etc, we should have been really, really careful and we just shipped them in.

Justin has put this country in danger. Scheer had better realize that, get off the fence and do something about putting a stop to it. He seems invested in more immigration. Well, Canadians have lost their appetite for more of it for the foreseeable future. The next leader needs to get that.

Ezra, I never thought of it until you said, " low energy…" but Scheer is our Jeb. It gives me no pleasure to say this.

Diversity? The lefts have redefined so many things, this is just another one they’ve changed to suit their own agenda.

The Rebel subscribers are going up 7% a month. That means doubling in a year.

- Diversity to the CBC means having a panel of people of various races all having exactly the same opinions. Bernier is the only real voice of opposition on many subjects so of course the Liberals & their media party lapdogs want him gone.

- Refugee seems to mean whatever the leftists want it to mean. We have 3rd & 4th generation Palestinian refugees & now these fake Syrian refugees. Speak out against these (fake) refugees & you’re a heartless bigot. It’s a game that people are getting sick of.

- This NM judge needs to be suspended (preferably over a shark tank) & investigated. Activist judge or not, this is a huge public safety violation. What would have happened if they were successful with the school shootings? This same judge & the mainstream media would be calling for gun control around the clock.
