Rebel Roundup: Guests Mark Latham, Ben Davies & more!

David MenziesMission Specialist

Every Friday evening on Rebel Roundup, we get together with other Rebel contributors to review the week's headlines, from the serious to the absurd.

Settle in and enjoy!

In the aftermath of the latest Islamic terror attack in Manhattan, Rebel John Cardillo joins us to discuss his interview with former CIA Station Chief and Russia expert, Scott Uehlinger, to get his take on why Sayfullo Saipov did what he did (and perhaps even more importantly, why this terrorist was allowed entry into the United States in the first place.)

Our Rebel Down Under, Mark Latham, joins us to discuss the outrageous circumstances that led to him being sued for defamation by Osman Faruqi for re-broadcasting words spoken by Faruqi himself!

With the debut of the new Justice League movie around the corner, Los Angeles-based Rebel, Ben Davies, joins me to discuss why we might be pleasantly surprised to find a superhero movie that veers right rather than left.

And Rebel’s Vancouver Bureau Chief and resident baseball enthusiast Christopher Wilson shares some details of the off-field behaviour of the only MLB player to take a knee this season, and why this rubbish is very much an NFL thing.

Ultimately having the sponsors pull support is exactly what the these “knee-jerkers” are looking for. They want to kill capitalism and most major league teams are owned by wealthy white men. So by insulting the fans and their countries, they are forcing businesses to pull support to save their bottom lines. And never forget that they are killing culture for their Islamic god.

Tammie Putinski-Zandbelt, at some point you have to get over it. Those who are promoting a pluralistic and tolerant society in Canada are largely from a Christian background. In Canada, those who identify themselves a secularists are about 90% of Christian background (that is, their parents and grandparents identified themselves as Christian).

Stop pretending that there are some “faithless hoards” coming into Canada.

You yourself are of Christian background, no?

Great Round Up David.

John Cardillo’s daily show is a fantastic addition to Rebel.

Mark Latham & Rebel Australia is the latest target for Islamic lawfare. It’s outrageous and hopefully the judge will dismiss Faruqi’s Statement of Claim early in the process.
Faruqi a clear example of a racist cry-bully!

Bruce Maxwell is a Social Justice Jerk, if he had any fans to start with, I’m sure they no longer will be.

NFL is going to feel the burn…fans and advertisers will continue to leave in droves.

David – and why are we importing whole families?

Rozie asks why so few people comment on David Menzies’ stories.

In Britain on a Friday a man may go out for a drink with “the lads” and chat freely about whatever touches their fancy.

On The Rebel David Menzies may want to chat with some other guys but it comes across as very creepy. Better that he tries it on a Tuesday afternoon.

- In my opinion Sayfullo Saipov was a ticking time bomb who was indoctrinated into Islamic extremism before Chuck Schumer brought him to the US & was further radicalized when he was living in the US. We see why the left does this by what’s happening in Europe. They bring in terrorists. The terrorists commit terrorism. The government then brings in laws to fight the backlash that never happens – censoring social media against “far right extremism” (those who fight globalism mostly). They want terrorism because more terrorism = more power for them. Muslims that go against radical Islam are considered apostates and are treated worse than non-Muslims, even by their own families. That’s why you don’t find a lot of moderate Muslims putting their heads up.

- Lawfare needs to be shut down. In the meantime people who are targeted by it, like Mark, need to be helped. Hopefully we’ll see the day when this sort of thing no longer happens. They can’t debate so they censor in any way possible. Leftism is the home of bigotry. Today it’s identity politics. The goal is the same it always is with the left – gain power at any cost, hold power at any cost. Donate to Mark if you can.

- Ben Davies made a good case for Man of Steel. I don’t watch a lot of movies anymore & really wouldn’t bother with ones that critics rave over (rotten tomatoes has become a joke). One of the biggest problems with Conservatives is that they would rather fight political fights than cultural ones. Politics is downstream of cultural. Political victories are temporary. With Hollywood collapsing, TV audiences shrinking & the NFL falling there is an opening for Conservative based culture (or even just people who want to tell a good story).

- The NFL, at the very least, needs to get rid of Goodell, hand out serious suspensions, give lifetime suspensions to the worst offenders, apologize to the American people & institute rules to prevent college football players from entering the NFL if they did the same. This would stop the bleeding. Many of the fans that left aren’t coming back. When diehard fans make videos of themselves burning their NFL stash that their kids gave them – they aren’t coming back. Goodell needs to go. He needs to be replaced with someone who cracks the whip. Goodell should have stopped this at the beginning.
