Rebel Roundup: Guests Sheila Gunn Reid, Mark Latham, & More!

David MenziesMission Specialist

Every Friday evening on Rebel Roundup, we get together with other Rebel contributors to review the week's headlines, from the serious to the absurd.

Settle in and enjoy!

* Sheila Gunn Reid weighs in on the UN Climate Change Summit in Bonn, Germany. You won’t believe the hypocrisy that is being generated thanks to hot air emanating from bureaucrats and environmentalists.

* Australia will likely become the next country to approve same-sex marriage. Our Rebel down under Mark Latham supports same-sex marriage in principle but he voted no to gay marriage in the recent referendum. He’ll explain why.

* Our BC Bureau Chief Christopher Wilson highlights how Donald Trump came to the rescue of a trio of UCLA students who faced doing hard time in China, but don’t expect many to applaud the President for his good deed.

* Next, Holly Nicholas will explain how your tax dollars are hard at work funding an agency that has ties to Hamas. Yes, that Hamas - the terrorist organization.

- If they believed their own BS this would be a virtual conference done on the internet. Instead, they’ll buy carbon offsets (modern indulgences – unpoliced, unregulated scams where they pay people to not cut down trees they had no intention of cutting down in the first place or the promise of planting trees that never seem to get planted).

- The same sex marriage has been used as the thin end of the wedge to push leftist ideology. Christian bakers or photographers don’t want to work same sex weddings on religious grounds? They get crushed (Muslims get a pass of course – Then it gets expanded to allow trannies to use the washroom or locker room of their choice & using the wrong gender pronoun can land you in jail. Eventually it will be used to normalize pedophilia.

- The mainstream media will ignore how Trump got these idiots out of Chinese jail but if he had done nothing you could expect them to howl with outrage. The Chinese government has shown that they respect Trump as a strong leader – a sharp contrast to how they viewed Obama.

- The handouts the Trudeau Liberals have been handing out to Omar Khadr & other convicted terrorists have been another way for them to fund terrorists. You can bet that’s where most of that money will end up. The UN is another means of funding terrorists but it isn’t as good for them since the money will have to go through the hands of corrupt UN officials. (Not that Trudeau would see that as being overly negative though.)

Great Round Up David. Really enjoyed all of the interviews.

Sheila’s coverage of COP23 was excellent. Her comment was hilarious, “they are fighting climate change one river cruise at a time!”
Climate Barbie is skewered on Twitter, see comments in response to latest CPO23 messaging – gynocentric focus “Gender Action Plan”

Trudeau is most certainly throwing us to the wolves!

The lefts condemnation of Trump and Republicans is their perpetual political tactic. They can’t even give credit where credit is due because Trump and Republicans in their eyes must always be portrayed as evil, inhuman, immoral, mean, deplorable. As if no Republican can be a good human. Fast forward to Frankin, Weinstein, Affleck, Spacey, CK, Ratner, etc, etc, etc. After much wringing of hands in the end they will be portrayed as good men with a problem their Moms gave them and can be cured with repentance and Therapy. The Republicans however can’t be cured because they hate babys and Moms so they can’t be cured and are forever evil. Were just so different.

Glad to hear Mark Latham voted ‘no’ for those very reasons.
The whole debate of gay marriage is simply anti-Christian, always was, always will be. Little minds, however, have accepted it for all the wrong reasons and the reasons they have been fed to believe. Lawyers are, of course, supportive; that is divorce lawyers.
