Rebel Roundup: Guests Rob Shimshock, Ezra Levant & More!

David MenziesMission Specialist

Every Friday evening on Rebel Roundup, we get together with other Rebel contributors to review the week's headlines, from the serious to the absurd.

Settle in and enjoy!

* So Justin Trudeau is blaming "rogue elements" in the Indian government for inviting a convicted attempted murderer to a formal dinner in India. Rebel Commander, Ezra Levant, weighs in on this wacky conspiracy theory.

* You would think the Jaspel Atwal affair would be a no-brainer issue for the Conservatives to attack the Liberals on, but they blew it. Sheila Gunn Reid will discuss this latest missed opportunity.

* Twitter banned a left-wing group from its platform, and that’s not something you see every day. Host of Campus Unmasked, Rob Shimshock, joins me to explain it all.

* And finally, letters. I’ll share some of your responses to my rant about certain schools banning the term "best friends."

Trudeau/Butts think they are bulletproof…given the debacle in India, more pulls on the bong required to keep them in a state of denial.

How will the government media spin this?? CBC hacks will certainly try.
EXCLUSIVE: Surrey MP Randeep Sarai speaks out for the first time since Atwal controversy
‘I didn’t invite the person,’ he said of Jaspal Atwal

Not even the left media can cover up Trudeau’s / Butt’s Liberals complete incompetence on the India trip. Way to insult India and dabbling in the terrorist fringe Trudeau. Sorry India. Canadians loves India.

- When the damage control does more damage than the incident itself & the media party turns on their Liberal masters you know that the Liberal goat rodeo has truly gotten out of hand. If Trudeau were an adult he would be taking responsibility for this disaster. Then again, if he were an adult he wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place.

- I joined the CPC so I could vote for the leader. It was a ranked ballot. I chose 4 candidates. None of those 4 were Andrew Scheer. When I saw him being interviewed by Ezra previously he looked evasive & not at all ready to be leader. He has proven to be risk adverse. He isn’t playing to win, he’s playing not to lose. If he doesn’t wise up he will lead the CPC to disaster. I’ve sent (replied to) several e-mails to (from) the CPC on this. I’m not sure if anyone even reads them. Maybe we need a Canada First party. I hope it hasn’t come to this. We’ll see.

- Revolutionary Student’s Front? Sounds like something out of Monty Python. (The People’s Front of Judea.) Just how insanely leftist do you have to be to get banned on Twitter? Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from responsibility. Calling for violence against police (or anyone) is a call for action. Good job Campus Unmasked.

Well the good news is that Smilin’ Andy Scheer has not totally messed things up …..yet. The media is now in full attack mode over Bollygate. Global News has done a poll showing that the Liberals would lose if an election were held tomorrow and 54% of Canadian disapprove of the job Junior is doing. Hey Andy, you can come out from under your desk now. The coast is clear.
