A Liberal Riding Association president is breaking the law and could go to jail. So why isn’t the mainstream media talking about this?
Well, because The Rebel broke the story, so the media party ignores it.
Watch as I give the background beginning in 2016 when a member of our research team noticed that an Ontario Liberal Riding Association President’s government of Canada email address was listed on a local party website.
Our original story was circulated internally in the department where the public servant worked. Following protocol, the President of Shared Services Canada wrote a letter to the information commissioner about the case asking if they should do their own investigation!
Their June 2017 report shows the matter was referred to the office of the Attorney General, Jody Wilson Raybould.
Wilson Raybould has been slow to act in asking the RCMP to lay charges, perhaps because Liberals in Ontario are already embarrassed by the ongoing McGuinty gas plant scandal, which also involved deleted emails.
Maybe after that trial there will be charges for this federal employee?
Or maybe not. It’s not like the media is covering this story and pressuring the Liberals as they would if conservatives were involved.
Besides, the CBC is far too busy writing horoscopes to report on this news.
This is what we’re here for— to keep the cozy relationship between the public service and the Liberals accountable.
