Three Ethiopian migrants were identified by their supposed victim for raping her at a carnival in Mühlhausen last year.
The woman, identified as Laura G told the court that “Each of them raped me three times.”

She described how the men lured her into a secluded spot near the railway station during the carnival and then raped her, sometimes as a group and sometimes one at a time.
The 28-year-old victim also said she was forced unprotected vaginal, anal, and oral sex. She also said she was beaten, kicked and had her hair pulled during the attack.
According to The Local, she had tried to run away before the rape, but the men had taken away her phone as she tried to call for help. That phone was later used to film part of the crime.

Earlier in the trial, one of the defendants tried to defend his actions by claiming the sex was consensual. “I was very drunk at the carnival and I slept with her once,” the 23-year-old said. He also said that two other men were with him at the time, but they are not the two co-defendants.
The other two men claim they went to bed early that night and deny any connection to the crime.
DNA traces were found on the victim. Prosecutors are charging the trio with group rape and bodily harm.
