MAJOR RALLY THIS WEEKEND: No pipeline? Fine, then no carbon tax! - Repeal the carbon tax!

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

For years The Rebel and our viewers warned that Rachel Notley and Justin Trudeau were coming to destroy the oil and gas industry.

But the fancy people scoffed. Especially the mainstream media. They love Notley and Trudeau — demonizing anyone who protests against them as “far right”.

The truth is, Notley and Trudeau have always hated the oilsands.

So they lied to us: they said if we just pay a carbon tax, then environmental extremists would let the pipelines go through.

They knew that was a lie. It was their own friends who were blocking the pipelines. Even their own staff.

They killed the Northern Gateway pipeline.

Then they killed the Energy East pipeline.

And now they’re killing the last one, Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline.

Enough is enough!

Join us for the largest rallies against the carbon tax ever organized.

I can’t afford to attend. Otherwise I would. When you think about it logically, a carbon tax makes exactly as much sense as an oxygen tax, or cloud tax, or a rain tax, or tree tax, or rock tax, or a Trudeau’s nice hair tax. All life on planet earth is carbon-based. We humans are carbon-based. The only reason this crap is tolerated is because the average voter wasn’t paying attention in science class. Without carbon-dioxide (which is what is really being taxed), all life on earth would cease. All plant life feeds on carbon-dioxide and nutrients in the soil. Through photosynthesis they turn the carbon-dioxide into oxygen and carbon. They then release the oxygen as waste, and use the combination of carbon and soil nutrients as their food. The oxygen, which is a waste product for the plant, is absolutely essential for the survival of all non-plant life. The only reason for the carbon tax is to finance Trudeau’s lavish lifestyle and virtue-signaling policies.

While you can say no pipeline, then no carbon tax, the danger in such reasoning is that one could just as well say, okay give us the pipeline and we will willingly accept to pay a tax (which will incrementally increase over time from $10 a tonne to $50 by 2022) to control the weather. Instead, say No to the nonsense of man-made, er people-made, climate change, which means No to a carbon tax and Yes to pipelines.
Glad that UCP MLA Drew Barnes will be attending the event despite Jason Kenney having thrown the Rebel under the bus.

“Social licence” is just the government giving the environmental gangs enough power so that the governments can create a punishing new tax, and then throw up their hands and say “we tried to get the pipelines done”. If Trudeau wanted to get the pipeline built it is within his power to do so. In the next federal election, when he wonders why his government didn’t get re-elected, we will tell him, “Because it’s 2019!”

I’m from Eastern Ontario, otherwise, I would attend. I will be there in spirit.
I hope the rallies draws tens of thousands of people who are loud and proud!

There shouldn’t be carbon tax in the first place. Anyone that believed in the social licence crap was a fool. Unfortunately this country is full of brainwashed fools who will believe anything the left wing lame stream media tells them. If it gets them killed, which it likely will, they deserve it because wouldn’t listen to anyone but their phony media.

Live near Ottawa, can’t attend, but have contributed towards the expenses. Nothing pisses me off more than Skippy Trudeau.

Good! But you should be doing in during the week and at the Legislature. Plug up Edmonton tighter than a spinster on new cheese.
