Comedian Rosie O'Donnell, who has a decade-long feud with President Donald Trump, has always said that she wants money to be kept out of politics. Seems hypocritical since she went on a Twitter tirade on Tuesday night, offering $2 million to any Republican senator who would vote against the GOP tax reform bill.
In one of her tweets, O'Donnell referred to two Republicans, Jeff Flake of Arizona and Susan Collins of Maine:
When one user asked if she would actually follow through with this, O'Donnell doubled down, writing, "I will write them a check." Another user pointed out that this would constitute bribing a lawmaker, which is a felony in the U.S., but O'Donnell continued to say she would give $2 million to any Republican senator who "votes no on killing Americans."
Clearly, O'Donnell has no idea how laws in this country actually work. This comedian can't even formulate a coherent tweet, much less offer intelligent commentary on the new tax plan.
Notice how O'Donnell doesn't even care when she is rightfully told that she would be breaking the law if she moves forward with her plan. The far left, which O'Donnell is admittedly a part of, is so desperate for President Donald Trump to not get a victory of any kind that they are willing to break the law just to stop him. They don't even mind if destroying Trump means destroying America as well: they just want to see President Donald Trump go down in flames.
Luckily, no GOP senators took O'Donnell up on her offer, as all 51 of them voted in favor of the tax reform bill. Nice try, Rosie!
