Rebel Roundup: Guests Ezra Levant, John Cardillo, & More!

David MenziesMission Specialist

Every Friday evening on Rebel Roundup, we get together with other Rebel contributors to review the week's headlines, from the serious to the absurd.

Settle in and enjoy!

* Justin Trudeau’s the first Prime Minister to break anti-bribery laws. Rebel commander Ezra Levant joins us to break down the problem with Justin’s luxury vacation on the Aga Khan's private island.

* A stunning piece in Politico reveals how Obama blocked DEA efforts to shut down terror group Hezbollah. Off the Cuff’s John Carrillo explains why.

* Have you heard of a holiday tree? Yeah, me neither. Kristin Tate joins me with her take on the raging war on Christmas.

* And finally, we get your letters every day and I’ll share some of my favourite fan mail – and hate mail!

Ross, imagine considering someone who you shook hands with 30 years ago at a funeral, a close family friend…no one else besides Trudeau would make such claims!
commented 2017-12-24 11:33:05 -0500
Even, if he was a longtime friend, which he was not, the fact that your friend was lobbying the government, would still be a conflict of interest. It was a classic non-apology apology.

I’m pretty sure the “holiday tree” in Boston that Kristen Tate is talking about is the same tree that comes from Nova Scotia every year as an annual thank you from the city of Halifax for the enormous amount of aid that was sent to Halifax from Boston a century ago after the devastating explosion in the harbour.
As far as this Maritimer and his Boston cousins are concerned, the tall foreheads in Massachusetts can go right ahead call that tree whatever they want but in our family it will never be called anything except a Christmas Tree.

Merry Christmas.

Tammie, I generally don’t give them a chance. I wish them Merry Christmas first, so I always get Merry Christmas back. To do otherwise would seem very rude, and stores don’t want to be rude to their customers. It’s bad for business.

I am happy to report there were only a few stores where I shopped used the term “Happy Holidays”, the majority of the time, employees wished me a Merry Christmas. I noticed this shift last Christmas in my area.

- Trudeau is a pampered elitist living on grandpas’ money. He was given the reigns of power & I’m sure it never occurred to him that he couldn’t just do whatever he wanted. The timing of the release from the ethics commission isn’t surprising. They will do just enough to justify their existence. The mainstream media – they’re the Liberal party propaganda ministry.

- I don’t think anything Obama did was due to stupidity. It was all planned out from the beginning. His past was erased, his connections to domestic terrorists, communists, Islamists, everything. Every door to power was opened to him.

- The war on Christmas is just part of the larger war on Western Civilization. I avoid shopping in stores that use “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas”. Most politically correct outrage comes from white leftists. The war on Christmas is no different. You will find few religious fanatics more extreme than the orthodox atheist.

- It looks like they were bought & paid for protesters. I doubt if any of them even thought through what they were doing.

Great roundup David, as always.
Justin and Sophie deserve one another…fake & opportunistic, willing to sell their souls!
They owe the Canadian tax payer the entire cost of these illegal vacations & the Aga Khan should be reimbursed by the Trudeau’s…even though it was a bribe!
Scheer failed to call for the PM’s resignation, strange reaction of official Opposition to a sitting Prime Minister being found guilty of four counts of corruption/bribery.

How Obama has evaded charges up to now is over the top baffling, he is a traitor! Same goes for the Clinton’s, and so many politicians in the DNC, FBI, CIA etc…
