At a Liberal party fundraiser in Saskatoon, Justin Trudeau touted the benefits of his carbon pricing plan, saying:
“We're taking action on a number of issues I know mean a lot to people here in Saskatoon and across this great province. That includes moving forward with our plan to put a price on carbon pollution.”
He's living in a dream world where normal farmers and rig hands care about the same things as silver spoon Laurentian Elites.
In reality, in under a year, the carbon tax has gone from having about 50 per cent approval rating in Saskatchewan, to at least 71 per cent of Saskatchewanians disapproving of it.
If Trudeau is trying to fundraise for the Liberal Party by promoting the carbon tax in Saskatchewan, he's hardly going to panhandle up enough change for a coffee at the diner.
