Saudi Arabia Starbucks bans women

StaffRebel Columnist

Is politically correct left-leaning Starbucks fine with gender segregation?

A Saudi Arabian Starbucks has banned women from its coffee shop after its 'gender wall' collapsed.

According to Breitbart, the wooden partition that separated the men’s side of the Riyadh shop from the women's side collapsed many times due to 'customer stampedes'.

Starbucks issued the following statement over the gender wall fiasco after photos of the sign were posted on Twitter.

“Starbucks in Saudi Arabia adheres to the local customs by providing separate entrances for families as well as single people. We are working as quickly as possible as we refurbish our Jarir store, so that we may again welcome all customers in accordance with local customs.”

Of course, not all cultures are treated equal.

Back in 2013, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz asked law-abiding gun owners to not bring their guns into stores.

If ever a Muslim mid eastern country should be invaded by the west it’s this one. Think of the benefits. End financial support for terrorism, lots of oil and billions of dollars to fight climate change. All of our problems could be solved.

Quickly. There’s not a moment to lose.
Round up Chrystia Freeland and her camera crew and get her over there to “crash” the joint.
She ’ll still probably bump into some guy wearing a robe.

So when Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner walks into a Saudi Starbucks, what’s the rule now?

How will Saudi Starbucks manage this? Will there be some sort of “junk check” to confirm?

Funny how gender equality is a one way street. There are plenty of places in Canada where men are banned, so what’s the big deal?

I’ll be sure to tell my daughter and her friends about this. Personally I can’t stand their swill.
