Saudi Arabia targets Canada because Trudeau's weak

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Manny Montenegrino, President of Think Sharp Inc., joined me to discuss the Canada-Saudi Arabia diplomatic breakdown.

The spat began when Trudeau's Global Affairs Minister, Chrystia Freeland, began Tweeting in opposition to the imprisonment of Saudi democracy activists.

Saudi Arabia is an Islamic theocracy so Canada should support democratic activists, but why are the Liberals making so much noise about Saudi Arabia when they're cosying up to Iran, China, and Cuba?

WATCH my interview with Manny to see why he thinks this spat has spiralled out of control because the Saudis sense Trudeau's weakness and want to punish him.

“More misinformation from Mr-Babies-Are-Parasites.
Those muslims who go on the jihadi war path are not extremists. They are simply orthodox. Westboro Baptist is exactly opposite. They are misinterpreting the Bible. ""

In both cases, they are simply taking the more extreme passages in their respective religious texts, literally. Both the Bible and the Quran advocate stoning unbelievers, for example, it’s just how literally you take that.

Wrong again, Mr-Babies-Are-Parasites. What you know about biblical interpretation would fill a thimble with lots of room left over.“Love your neighbour as yourself” is not the same as “Kill the infidels where ever you find them”.

I’ll gladly go head to head with you again if you so desire.

The world know Trudeau is clueless now if we can only convince the dumb ass Liberal voters . Think we are going to have to pull a Ford move on Andy . He is just as weak as Trudeau .

Andrew back then they were not very fundamentalist. The religion was not followed or enforced like it is now. The main problem is still the ideology of Islam. "

You literally just admitted the problem was the fundamental interpretation of it, not the religion itself.

Any religion interpreted with a strictly fundamentalist interpretation is going to cause problems. Take the Westboro Baptists – is it Christianity that makes them so bad, or their fundamentalist interpretation of it?

I hope (but doubt) that this clarification helps- willful blindness and Three Pillars of Leftiedom and all.

sorry left wing men. And i hope SA cuts off oil to Canada, then Justin has to grovel to the US. That would be hilarious.

Andrew Stephenson Brazeau did no cardio for the fight, when he had energy he had Justin wobbling and Justin was only saved by headgear. His mistake was not training.

Andrew Stephenson they are doing nothing in retaliation , even after a threat on twitter. And let me know when they call out Iran, Cuba, and China. Justin has no choice but to waffle like he is doing. If he had balls he would be raising hell about that threat that was posted or maybe some economic sanctions. He is a joke.

Human rights abuses. Don’t pretend it’s about Islam.

The two are inseparable. "

Not at all. Until the 70s, many Muslim countries were every bit as progressive, if not moreso, than those in the west. The religion didn’t change, something else did. Or, compare, for example, Saudi Arabia to Dubai. Conversely, some of the worst human rights offenders (e.g, North Korea) are officially irreligious with barely any Muslims at all.

Any sort of theocracy can be dangerous irrespective of the underlying religion, but it’s merely a tool, not an ultimate cause.

Brazeau made the same mistake you did in underestimating Trudeau.

Andrew’s comment in part, “We all know Trump won’t, he’s got a lot of assets there.”
Justin’s and his insiders are deep in Iran, which is why not a word about their human rights,”

The Liberals supported a Conservative motion in June, condemning Iran. Why not a word? You just weren’t paying attention when it happened.

Ahhh schucks, and I thought we’d finally be able to sell our own oil to the Atlantic provinces. "

Not in the short term – the refineries using imported oil are set up for light crude, not bitumen. Some can and do but not enough to make up the difference.

“Robert Hewgill commented 11 hours ago
It all has to do with the same reason Trump told Trudeau to take a hike. Trying to push his special rights feminazi BS on the US, and now Saudi Arabia. :”

Do you agree with the Saudis, then, that women should not be allowed outside unchaperoned?

""liza rosie commented 11 hours ago
To the one who said Justin has balls for ‘standing up to them’ .
Balls? Surely you aren’t mistaking that empty sack he crosses his legs over for something men possess?"

I think it was actually Freeland that started it (is she worthy of derision for lacking “balls” in that sense as well? From a political standpoint, it’s probably not a defining feature, as much as Trump wishes it were) . As I recall, Brazeau made the same mistake you did in underestimating Trudeau.

Justin’s and his insiders are deep in Iran, which is why not a word about their human rights, so I wouldn’t be giving Justin any credit whatsoever, and if he wanted to take the Saudis to task he could have had the grown ups do it properly. Oh , well they don’t have any of those, but you know what I mean.

If I am missing something with that Saudi medical treatment program? Please enlighten me. What does it do for us, anything?

If this were really about the oppressed women in Saudi Arabia, we would stop all business with them. No oil, no student or medical programs and we wouldn’t be building them any tanks or other weapons. Just cut them off. I know its not going to happen. As uncle Soros says, “If I didn’t do it somebody else would, so it might as well be me”. So lets build those tanks Canada. I have never been convinced that, this (Saudi) enemy of my enemy is my friend, was a smart alliance anyway. What do we need from them?

Ahhh schucks, and I thought we’d finally be able to sell our own oil to the Atlantic provinces. Can they at least still please recall their Saudi Nationals, take them out of our Universities and colleges and ship home their sick from our hospital beds?

Man the stuff the average Canadian doesn’t pay attention to. Do the Saudis pay us for kicking Canadians out of hospital beds and back to the end of the line or do Canadian taxpayers foot that bill as well.?
Bleep bleep and the camel you rode into town on.

Justin and his high school student council demonstrate zero skill in diplomacy.
Publicly embarrassing foreign leaders, i.e. inviting terrorist Jaspal Atwal to dinner on the trip to India,Trudeau vs Trump after the G7, Freeland vs Saudi Arabia, has consequences. The cost of their ignorance is borne by a lot of innocent people so their self congratulatory virtue signaling is malicious and disgraceful, the complete opposite of virtuous. And yet Trudeau and the Liberals are doubling down on their moral superiority as if any other country really cares. Reality is cruel to those spoon fed on fantasy.

No-Nutz & Little Miss Red Dress so outraged about Saudi Arabia, yet they have no issues with importing tens of thousands of individuals of the same religion and Islamic ideology. Total political stupidity, just like when he back stabbed Trump after the G7. Good to see France, the UK and the U.S. all ignore his whining for help.
commented 2018-08-09 15:13:32 -0400
Andrew, Why hasn’t France, Britain, Germany, Japan etc…stood behind the virtue signalers who think “Twitter diplomacy” is compatible with Saudi Arabia? Think about it, Trudeau’s foreign relations are a laughing stock, sometimes, he creates diplomatic incidents like in India and the Phillipines. Who can forget he also screwed up the G-7 communique being signed by all members after the President of the US boarded AF1 to fly to Singapore. The Clown Prince was showboating for the press, and, it didn’t turn out so well for him after that.

Given all the Human Right’s abuses in Iran, Trudeau doesn’t have a problem with re-establishing relations there and staying mute on what they are up to, he thinks this will escape the notice of both the US and SA. The bottom line is, this government is run by a bunch of amateurs who have garnered no respect from International leaders….the shine wore off quite a while ago!
