SUCCESS: Celebs support “Baby, It's Cold Outside” as sales of “controversial” Christmas song skyrocket

December 19, 2018 - Did you purchase or stream a version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” this week? Probably, because sales for the song are through the roof and we’re really happy about it!

UPDATE: “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” back on some radio stations — but the fight isn’t over.

December 12, 2018 - Good news: some radio stations that had banned the classic song “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” have started playing it again!

Liberal snowflakes are trying their hardest to ruin Christmas music for all of us. This year, it’s the timeless Christmas classic, “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”

The song was brought to fame by Hollywood legends such as Dean Martin and Bing Crosby. The popular and beloved Christmas tune has aired for over half a century, since 1944, on radio stations and TV programs across the country. But liberals want to make sure that ceases forevermore.

Canadian media conglomerates CBC, Rogers and Bell media have removed it from their December rotation and now stations in the U.S. are following suit. Cleveland radio station WDOK will not be playing the song due to listener feedback.

Christmas music censorship is a downhill snowy slope that's already building momentum. Regressives are looking next to go after “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “White Christmas” complaining that Rudolph is glorifying bullying and “White Christmas,” well, even the name is outrage-worthy within itself.

Since all of this "outrage" over “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” a former English teacher and jazz enthusiast decided to provide some explanation for the tune. In her post, she said this:

"Hey what’s in this drink" was a stock joke at the time, and the punchline was invariably that there’s actually pretty much nothing in the drink, not even a significant amount of alcohol... But she’s having a really good time, and she wants to stay, so she is excusing her uncharacteristically bold behavior (either to the guy or to herself) by blaming it on the drink -- unaware that the drink is actually really weak, maybe not even alcoholic at all. That’s the joke.

But having humorous lyrics these days is simply not OK because to liberals, jokes aren’t funny.

Regressives have ushered in an era where nothing can be funny or fun anymore. If they had their way, Christmas will be diluted down to nothing more than a holiday of yore. A pastime. No fanfare for the birth of Christ, no Christmas music, no trees adorned with lights and ornaments.
