Scary! Heritage Minister boasts, greatest success of Liberals so far is “tone” but will “Sunny Ways” pay the bills or stop ISIS?

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Canada's Heritage Minister thinks the greatest accomplishment of the first one hundred days of the Trudeau Liberals is tone and listening. What?

Melanie Joly, a Liberal MP from Montreal and Heritage Minister tweeted: The greatest success of our first 100 days is the tone that we have adopted as a govt, the fact that we're listening to the public.

Joly says the Liberals are listening. Are they listening to the Albertans demanding the Liberals approve pipelines so we can get the country back to work? No. They can't even give us a straight answer about Energy East.

Joly said “tone” is a success, a day after Husky Energy let go of another 400 people in their Calgary office. That’s nearly 2,000 people laid off by Husky in recent months. Can these people, or any of the of the 100,000 unemployed Albertans pay their bills with a gentler tone? No. Sunny ways won't pay the bills but energy sector jobs do.

Are the liberals listening to the majority of Canadians who want our air force to continue their successful airstrikes against the Islamic State? No. The Liberals are ignoring the 63% of Canadians who either want our airstrikes to continue or want airstrikes to increase.

Are the Liberals listening to security experts who are saying the Islamic State will exploit the refugee crisis to attack the American homeland? No. It's full steam ahead at breakneck speed. The Liberals will even evict our military from their bases to make sure Canada meets some arbitrary refugee goal.

But maybe Joly is right. Maybe that’s it. Maybe a delusional sunny tone in the face of so many reasons to be somber and serious is the best the Liberals can do.

If sunny ways and open ears are your biggest accomplishment as a government, you need to try harder.

When Trudeau heard the phrase “Everything I ever needed to know I learned in Kindergarten” he took it literally and hasn’t learned anything since. =)

Well said Ms. Reid. I would also like to add that Trudeau in a complete privileged idiot with insane views and ideas. The sound of his pussy voice makes me want to slap him.

Did we just have a Federal election; or after seeing what the Liberals are serving up as leadership material am I dreaming and reliving the results of my high school student council elections. Same language, same objectives, same emotionally driven logic, same golly gee wiz candidates. All except McCallum because we would get suspended for showing up drunk to school. Perhaps that’s not the case anymore but that’s a story for another time. We need to get that old school spirit to really set the tone and get us on our way to those Sunni days. We’ll get the Guess Who for our prom this year and we can let the following years sell more chocolate bars to pay for them showing up. So what if they can only afford records right? At least we’ll have a good time.

I don’t want to beat up on Melanie Joly. Apart from the weird wart…mole…whatever on the right side of her upper lip, she’s a very, very attractive woman. I think what she means by “tone” is the fabulous earth-tones she redecorated her office with. Neutral colors, like beige, are always popular with the indifferent crowd. JT not exactly an earth-tone sort of guy. He’s more into purples – you know – the colors of royalty. King JT? I guess some people still believe that.

At around the 1:07 mark. "I think it’s important that we have confidence in our regulators. It’s important that they do ‘our job’
Damn those Freudian slips.

Eh – Bravo Zulu commented 2 hours ago -
they already have brought us to our knees – but guys like you and me just aren’t going any lower – that will one day become a harsh reality for them. They keep coming up with totally absurd “plans” for us – but I for one will go down if necessary defending my right to freedom which many of us have sweated blood for. Them imposing more absurdity upon us will only hasten their demise.

Eh STUPID woman – come to my province if want to hear TONE!! You Lieberals are a bunch of disgusting inbred idiots who think the rest of us are at your beck & call – well come to Alberta for a reality check and perk up those deaf ears of yours. You want OUR $$$ but you won’t play the economic ball with us – NO you want change – well come and get it!! You’ll be like homeless beggars in a very poor town!
You all need to be committed for your idiotic ideas & demands.

Yep Sunni Days Minister Joly where in her riding 50% are Ethnic and Muslim!
That’s the same riding where migrant Mohamed Mustapha raped 10 teenage girls and only got 10 years jail time!

I suggest tone-deaf is more appropriate. Justin’s Diary sums up the 100 day disaster. The liberals have yet to do a single thing
I agree with, while over turning things I agree with.

Well, look at a 90 – 120 billion dollar deficit as the islamic pm spends like a fool.

Possibly more.

The security of Canada is in grave jeopardy.

Even another article on this site called "US Director of National Intelligence: “Largest threat in history” of domestic ISIS attack" confirms this.

Just because we fly the Maple Leaf does not protect us.

The islamic pm of Canada and his lily livered cabinet are going to bring us to our knees.

Desmond Caza – for the answer to that question watch the movie farce “Idiocracy” by Mike Judge if you want a glimpse of “progressive” culture as the Progressive voter base out-breeds the productive class.

Begs the question as to whether this generations liberal progressivism has evolved toward mandating a percentage of mentally handicapped individuals into our nations ministry in order to show the world it addresses inequality!

Dear Diary;
Phew! That was close. This one had the potential of being awkward for me if my news-buddies had decided to make something of all that business about me kicking those violent armed forces people out of their homes and sending them off to the middle-east, then using tax dollars to build a mosque, and purchase Korans and prayer mats, etc. for our gentle, incoming migra . . oops, I mean voters . . oops, I mean refugees who will kindly look after and take care of these homes for a while.
Fortunately another news-bite rolled around, just in time, when somehow a gay pride flag at UBC got burned off its flagpole during OUTweek. Naturally Gerald and I are shocked and heartbroken but we still have lots of Kleenex left over.
Thankfully the RCMP are dutifully investigating so the incident is getting so well covered by CBC, CTV, Global, Huffington Post, Vancouver Sun, VanCityBuzz, CKNW and so many other radio stations that it’s turned out to be a super diversion.

- Set up a non-partisan Senate Advisory Panel filled with partisans and SJWs
- Unsuccessfully tried to use election campaign clichés when offering condolences to the family of Canadians murdered by Islamic terrorists. They hung up on me (the Canadian’s family, not the Islamic terrorists)
- Got chided and upbraided by just about everyone for jabbing at Harper during my speech at the Economic Forum in Davos
- Lifted the sanctions against Iran so that Canada now supports sponsors of terrorism.
- Paid back unethical and immoral unions for their support by discontinuing secret balloting so that the union thugs will know who to bully and intimidate
- Paid back corrupt union bosses by not requiring them to disclose financial statements to their members
- Assigned hundreds more troops to the war in the Middle East but withdrew the protection of their air cover
- Evicted Armed Forces Personnel from their homes to provide shelter for “refugees”
- Used tax dollars to purchase religious items such as Korans, prayer mats and foot-washing towels

If you have been paying attention to the deluded ramblings PM Sonnywayze makes to foreign press, you would see how the nebulous mewling from this minister while the wealth engines in Ontario, the West and Quebec spiral into a welfare economy, dovetails into PM Selfie’s dream of Canada as the first “Post-national” state. It is an open display of the cognative detachment this government has from its core duties.

I can’t stand looking at Trudy, let a lone listen to his baby talk! My son was speaking fluently at 18-months, and he could have talked circles and beat Trudy in a debate at that age. :-)

Listening to Trudeau makes me was to throw up. Trudeau really is an annoying and embarrassing asshole for all of Canada.

Sunny crap and nauseating tone is a reflection of how mentally deficient these liberal pricks really are.
